The Hill Apartments

Booked for two nights. 10pm noise cutoff.Rang myself at 9.30 as I was having a drink with my partner on the balcony telling us to keep noise to a minimum. No privacy as police were called in the next day and we were asked to leave. The owners were not willing to compromise and I suggest if you are under 65 do not stay here. The situation was handled poorly and they treated us terribly. Wouldn’t even give us half an hour to check out and wasn’t going to issue a refund for the second night we had lost. I have stayed in many places and this is by far the worst I have ever stayed in. Treated like we had ruined their apartment no privacy at all. I suggest that they do not rent out to younger people or should really be putting the the rentals away from people who actually live there. Felt we were being watched and felt we had no privacy. The worst place I have ever stayed. More like a retirement village. Treated so badly!

We stayed over the Australia Day weekend and we couldn't be happier. Our room faced Currumbin Creek & the ocean. Waking up to that view each morning really knocked our socks off.The kitchen and bathrooms were newly renovated and overall the apartment was well appointed. It had a spacious lounge but to be honest we rarely sat there because the view from the balcony kept drawing us to there.Eating dinner on the balcony was great - there was a sea breeze.It is on a flight path, but so is everything in Currumbin. Air traffic is pretty slow right now, so it didn't really bother us at all. They start late and finish early.Management were friendly and helpful. They were communicative but not intrusive.The place has quite a few stairs (hint: it's called the Hill) but it remains quite accessible even to me with a bit of a gamy ankle. It's a very short walk to the creek which is lovely to paddle in and only really 5-10 mins on to the waves.For somewhere near a busy beach and other amenities I thought it's location, being a bit tucked away, was perfect and made for a peaceful stay.Get a higher floor if you can - the views are really impressive. I think our apartment was 38, on the 3rd floor. We were in the lower block closer to the beach so if our view was awesome it could only get better the higher you go.I'd defo come back.

Stayd here May 2022 Managers very helpful when when l first arrived,great views from room well apointed room beds were comfy perfect for what l needed.pool spa BBQ fantastic, found it to be tranquil though over flight path did find watching jets come in for landing fascinating.Pretty close to surf life saving club great food there by the wayalso other eateries close by as well will definatly be coming back for another holiday

Awesome views of the surf. Plenty of amenities. Sunbathing on the balcony sipping on a cider with a fresh breeze, it just doesn't seem to get any better than this.

A clean complex next to Currumbin estuary and ocean. Quiet spot with ocean and coastal views as far as the eye can see. Walking distance to supermarket, restaurants and cafes. Only drawback are steps from carpark to units.

Cannot recomend highly enough! Fantastic for families with relaxed swimming in currumbin creek at the doorstep and the surf beach just a short stroll. Suggest one of the front units for views that are the best! Management are extremely friendly& helpful. Pool & spa imacutaly maintained as was the unit.

Stayed at the Hill Apartments for almost 3 weeks. Loved everything about them especially the fantastic view of the Gold Coast. The owners Michelle and Peter are so friendly and go out of their way to help you out. Can't recommend enough. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definately come back.

The unit is very clean and well maintained. The customer service that we have received has been excellent. We will be back.

Where do I start? The apartment was unclean in several places, most notably the bathroom and kitchen. The internet service was completely useless. Management were rude beyond my wildest imagination. My young daughter saved her pocket money for weeks and purchased some jewellery for her mother. She sadly left it behind and the woman in management not only didn’t reply to me when I asked her to check the room, she stated I accused her cleaners of stealing, which I did NOT do! She had the audacity to ask me was the jewellery REAL or not, where I stated it was irrelevant! She was nothing but rude and unprofessional. Do yourselves a favour - DO NOT STAY at this OVERPRICED dump! The only positive was the view, yet all you can hear is the traffic and parking is a joke! The woman was even worse towards me because my partner gave an honest review! Management are an unprofessional joke beyond belief!

Awesome view! Great location! Very well maintained gardens and landscaping. Great pool and spa area. Nice apartment, although taps and many fixtures are losing the battle against time. Lots of stairs, no lifts. Still highly recommend for a family holiday.
