I recently ordered another off-grid solar system from Jock at NRG Solar Solutions Queensland, and once again, I couldn't be more satisfied with the service and product provided. Jock's expertise and dedication to customer satisfaction made the entire process smooth and hassle-free.

The contractors used were of a very low standard. My rooftop tank was unsecured and the plumbing was untidy with multiple holes drilled and tiles broken. They have since been back out and secured the tank properly. Make sure you check the install.The product is great, but get someone else to install it.

We had our off-grid solar set up in 2019 by Jock from NRG and it has been working so well for us. He came out and discussed our electricity needs and worked out how many batteries would work for us. We love the off-grid solar and have never gone without power. Highly recommend Jock and his company.

Jock and NRG provided a first class and highly professional service from start to finish. Jock came to see us, he listened to our needs and then designed a system that was cost effective and exactly what we needed. We had no trouble during the installation process with the installer actually coming back out the next day to finish up during his day off because they had forgotten an item when they repacked their Ute.Since then we have only had one problem with the system which only required a system reboot and everything was ok once again.We can’t highly recommend Jock and his team enough.

Our off-grid solar system installed by Jock Barton owner of Solar NRG Solutions in April 2019 has totally failed. We have been abandoned by this company and all requests for technical assistance leading up to this critical failure have been ignored. We have been forced to engage 3 CEC accredited companies to do a full audit on this install and it has been determined that it was not properly or safely installed. The inverter never worked to spec and was unservicable in Australia and our lithium ion batteries which were not installed in a rated safety cabinet nearly exploded (see attached image). We have been reliably informed that we are lucky our house did not burn down. The system has been decommisioned and replaced at great expense to us. We are entitled to a full refund by Australian consumer law and want our money back now.
