Hartwell Physiotherapy: Sports Physiotherapy & Knee Pain Physiotherapy Camberwell

My two recent visits to Hartwell Physiotherapy were wonderful, with the lovely Bella providing fantastic care. Thanks so much for helping me get back on my feet.

I saw Sam after a back injury which left me in a lot of pain and I was also incredibly anxious about how I would resume work and continue to work towards my physical goals for the year. Sam provided me with much needed tools for my physical recovery and also supported my psychological recovery as well. He is professional, knowledgeable and is a passionate educator. With his assistance I returned to full duties at work and have resumed running which was my biggest priority! I went from having a lot of worry about my injury to not even thinking about it anymore. A few weeks ago I ran a 10k and achieved a PB while doing so and there’s no way I could have done it without him. I couldn’t recommend him enough!

First physio in Australia. I am happy with my first consultation with Leo today. Leo is very patience to understand my previous injuries and has given me few options to stretch and strengthen my shoulder blade. I look forward to the next treatment ☺️.

My wife and I have recently connected with Hartwell Physiotherapy for physio treatments. Our Physiotherapists Cameron Horner, Bella McKay and Ami Nishikawa are all excellent. They are professional and very experienced, especially they are very kind and patient. This is our first experience with physical therapy. Fortunately, we met these excellent and kind physical therapists in Hartwell Physiotherapy, which gave us confidence to continue to do physical therapy next year. I have had some treatment and Sophie has not only directed my repairs but has focused on preventative actions for o stop reoccurrence. All done with an excellent friendly but professional manner.

Bella has been an absolute saviour!! I went from crying at each appointment from the pain I was in, to now leading a fairly normal lifestyle again. The quality care and service I've received at Hartwell Physio has been amazing. I'd definitely recommend this team to others!My only feedback is that it would be good to have massage billed under a different code to physio for health insurance rebates.

My grateful thanks to Hartwell Physiotherapy - from the efficiency and kindness of the reception/administration staff led by Andrea, to the friendliness and expertise of the physiotherapists, Cameron and Sam. The latter has been great in encouraging me with Pilates training - the sessions are both enjoyable as a social experience and beneficial in improving my physical well-being.

I've had 2 practitioners now at Hartwell Physio & they've both been effective, professional, friendly, & are highly recommended (Sam being the most recent). Reception staff also helpful & efficient.Will definitely be returning & can easily recommend it - not just for sports injuries, as I can assure you I am no athlete! I had a retail-work incurred back injury, which was quickly & accurately diagnosed, treatment plan created.Sam's appointment with me was a follow up treatment/assessment, he was kind & made sure I wasn't in excessive pain during the treatment, and suggested ways to manage the necessary pain" over the next couple of days

My experience at Hartwell Physiotherapy has been excellent. Sam is the best physio I have ever been to, without question. I have experienced multiple football related injuries during my time seeing Sam and his professionalism and care during our consultations made me feel comfortable and listened to. Sam has effectively managed my injuries, allowing me to get back on the field feeling confident.Sam has a knack for explaining injures in a way that makes it very easy to understand. He manages expectations whilst setting realistic and personalised goals. His ability to reassure any concerns I have surrounding my injury is one of the main reasons I will continue to keep coming back!
