the called” Chocolate mousse”is not a mousse it is a cream. Nothing exciting about it .

Best pannacotta I’ve had EVER. I’ve enjoyed the dessert for years in countless restaurants and this just takes it to a whole new level. Don’t believe the troll reviews and try it for yourself. I preferred to eat it without much of the berry coulis as the plain pannacotta is exquisite on its own. So glad it’s stocked at the the big supermarkets so I can enjoy regularly without having to make a trip to Tassie. Easy to understand why this product won a Gold Medal at the Royal Tasmanian Fine Food Awards.

The chocolate mousse tastes just like yogo - horrible. Tastes of cream but no sign of any real chocolate flavouring.

Panna cotta is absolutely incredible

The quince paste is perfect. Great consistency and perfect for any cheese plate!

The Panna cotta with mango and passionfruit coulis tastes incredible. So delicious, creamy and melts in your mouth.

This review is about The Chocolate Mousse.I was enticed by the seductive packaging, My expectations were high as the price point was also on the upper level of similar tub mousses. However when I opened the box (unusual for shelf packaging of mousse) and discovered a plain white tub with a gold paper seal, my immediate thought was the box was a cheap way out of avoiding printing on the actual tub. That led me to suspect it would be an inferior product. I was still excited though, and hoping my gut feeling was wrong. However as soon as I put the spoon in the mouse and noticed the texture I was starting to realise my suspicions were probably right. Then when I tasted it, I was so disappointed, realising it was a cheap bogans version of a mousse. The maker was probably expecting people not to notice that it was a sickly creamy texture with only a trace of chocolate taste! Moreover it was like kids chocolate custard only smoother with less chocolate. The only redeeming taste was a slight doughy after taste that hung on by a thread at best. I tried adding whipped cream to make it taste better but I still couldn't bring myself to finish it. Pity because the look is promising. The knowledge or taste sense of the makers unfortunately is not. I gave it 2 stars mainly for packaging. If your going to make a mousse, make a mousse not a custard.
