The estate and its accommodation is truly spectacular, surrounded by some of the most amazing and magnificent views and wildlife. If you're looking to get away from it all and spend some time reconnecting to Mother Nature, then this serene destination is highly recommended. Well within striking distance to either Byron Bay or Bangalow too. Overall, very impressive!

Rockinghorse Estate is the perfect place to relax and get away with friends. I have been fortunate to stay here twice in the last two years. The pool and outdoor areas are fantastic and the layout means you can either come together as group or have time away.Alex is a wonderful host who in the recent floods demonstrated that he cares for his guests. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay and can't wait to come back xo

We recently stayed at Rocking horse Studios Estate for the second time and will definitely be back. The house is well equipped and spacious enough for a large group to have their own space and to enjoys meals and each other’s company. In the communal areas. The bedrooms are beautifully appointed and the rain water shower head in the bathroom is what dreams are made of. The outdoor entertaining areas and pool are a great place to relax and enjoy the wonderful scenery. We’ve had another absolutely fantastic stay.A huge thank you to Alex for looking after us when we were stuck with the recent floods.

Myself & 11 girlfriends just had our second visit to Rockinghorse & loved it as much as the first time. The house has fantastic facilities, an amazing view & the pool is a gorgeous place to relax. Whilst the weather wasn’t great & we were stranded by the floods, Alex was so amazingly generous by allowing us to stay & also kept us informed about local roads etc. We just love our time at Rockinghorse & will definitely be back.

Our stay was absolutely magical. The home is well laid out so we had plenty of space to ourselves and to come together. The beds and pillows were like heaven. Kitchen fully equipped and the grounds pristine with plenty of little tracks and a creek to discover quiet little spots to sit and enjoy nature. The host is easily accessible and responds very quickly. This place is a must

We originally booked for 2 and ended up extending for another 4 weeks. We loved our stay here. The layout suited our needs, the beds were comfy and the surroundings were quiet and beautiful. Its a family friendly home with a great kitchen. The hosts were super responsive. We can't wait to return as soon as there is availability :)

This was our second visit to Rockinghorse and certainly won’t be our last. The house is absolutely stunning with so much space and happy hour can be in a different spot every afternoon.The house, rooms, kitchen, bathrooms are all beautifully clean and presented.We never want to leave.We would like to thank Alex who looked after us and communicated with us throughout our stay. We did have an extra 2 days due to the floods and would like to thank Alex and team for allowing us to stay.We look forward to our trip back next year.

This was our 2nd stay and again Rockinghorse Estate did not disappoint. Such a beautiful house, so spacious and comfortable for all 12 of us. The house has 2 wings of bedrooms with open plan lounge, kitchen dining room, an additional lounge area and a loft with 2 bathrooms and full laundry. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable with access to the pool from all downstairs bedrooms. The kitchen was well appointed with a huge dining table. The outdoor areas had beautiful gardens with an amazing pool and numerous sitting areas that look over the pool and a massive balcony with uninterrupted views of the trees and creek.Last year Alex was a fabulous host but this year Alex outdid himself. We were stranded during the floods with no way out by road or air. Alex let us remain in the house until we could leave and kept us up to date on flights, roads closures and made sure we had everything we needed.Thank you Alex for being so kind and generous during a difficult time. We will see you again soon.

Absolutely stunning! Rocking Horse House is the epitome of comfortable, functional luxury.We stayed for three days in late summer, there were eight adults in our party and this house provided the perfect space for our relaxing getaway.What made it so great?*All bedrooms had large comfortable beds and individual access to the pool area- the only negative the two bedrooms on the eastern side do not have ceiling fans and it can get warm. There are portable fans and Aircon in the living area which can help cool*The pool and surrounding area were perfect for relaxing and cooling off, with shade from trees and buildings in the morning and afternoon allowing for a lot of sun safe swimming time.*High quality linen and towels. The raw linen sheets were divine, several types of pillow to suit all people and the organic Japanese bath towels were delicious.*Very well stocked kitchen especially for entertaining, excellent variety of platters, a number of different style glasses, quality utensils and pots, even a variety of food storage containers. They have thought of everything, the only thing that I would suggest they add is a whisk.*Multiple living areas- open plan dinning and lounge with beautiful and functional furniture, a great sound system and collection of vinyl records. The upstairs Tv nook is the perfect children’s retreat or a place for you to get away. There was also lots of undercover outdoor space for shade or protection from the weather.*Easy access to reliable WI-FI and good Telstra phone service in the house.The booking agent was easy to deal with, provided good information and was easily contactable.We could not have asked for a more .
