Molong Showground & Golf Course

Fantastic welcome from care takers. Best priced showground we've stayed at. Despite the rain, the site was draining well and we had no issues.

Bev and Ian are awesome. This is a beautiful spot with golf course...just beautiful. Powered and at $10 a night it's definitely 5 star worthy

Value for money, our van $10 a might power and water, currently upgrading amenities, very friendly caretaker.

The toilets are a disgrace, the guy on the pretend walking stick ( appears to only need it when he thinks someone is looking), we were told to leave because we told them the health risks of the toilet and showers. I asked if the toilets were ever cleaned and was informed they were not as it costs to much, the showgrounds do not make enough money to clean them.

3 star showground with 5 star service! Toilets and showers kept clean, sites are small but have wide open views and are well kept. We arrived in a 5 tonne bus and the wet grass gave us no issues. Ian the caretaker was super nice and really approachable! $10 is a steal for this showground! Make sure to check them out!

What a hidden gem this place is to stay! Great quiet campsite set back from the road lots of bird life and the best sleep we have had in our camper on this trip - no ear plugs needed! We found it by accident when our planned site was flooded out and the caretakers Bev and Ian were really helpful. Will stay here again.

Plenty of space. Power and water with showers and toilets. Best value around.

Well maintained grassy sites that are nearly level. The caretaker allowed us to test various vacant sites until we found one level enough for us because we have a sensitive fridge. The amenities were very clean. Only one shower in each of the ladies and mens. Foam mat to help keep feet clean and dry when getting out of the shower. Need to use a key for access to the amenities. No paper towel provided to wipe hands. No laundry, kitchen, BBQ or clothesline. We were encouraged to access clean drinking water from a tank next to the caretaker’s residence. The cost of $10 for a powered site in Feb 2022 makes this camp site worthy of 4 star despite the lack of facilities.

Stayed here the night of 15/jan/23. Cost $10. Nice quiet and clean spot, mown grass, literally no noise at all (not even animals). Spoke with Josh who was friendly (even at 10pm when we arrived) who showed us where to park. If you’re looking fir a nice, quiet and dark place to stay this is the spot.
