Simple little road side cafe, but the food is good, the facilities are clean and the prices are good. Has a range of traveller's supplies as well as hot and cold food. Nothing fancy, but everything you'll want from a road side diner.

On 16/04/2023 we stopped in here 2 hours in from an 8 hour drive home for some breakfast, nothing looked inviting enough to fill the gap. Deciding to wait until we reached another township to buy something to eat I grabbed a 2 pack of chocolate covered Caramilk fingers (similar to Twix) & an Iced coffee from the fridge then continued on our journey. An avid chocolate fan I began eating my Caramilk finger when I thought it tasted a bit odd, stale actually. Although I didn't want to believe it & thinking surely not, I wanted to prove myself wrong so I looked at the expiry date... Sure enough, the chocolate had expired on 30/03/2023.I had taken a photo of the wrapper & date with intentions of sending them a complaint, but deleted the photo only 3 days ago when I couldn't remember the name of the diner...until it popped up only now in my maps as places I've visited.STARBURST DINER - CHECK YOUR STOCKS DATES ON YOUR SHELVES!!CONSUMERS, CHECK BEFORE YOU BUY.

Absolutely no customer service, not even a smile. Ordered our food, chicken wings came out cold then enquired how long the spring rolls would be and told they are coming" when they were not even in the fryer

Driving back to Brisbane after the death of my mother at Christmas and my father being rushed in to ICU at New Year yet there were more smiles at both occasions than there was at this Diner. It was the most depressing place I’ve had the misfortune of attending. When you see a young staff member screaming at an older lady (who I presume was the actual owner ) you wonder what happened to some of the youth of today. She continued to belittle the old lady in front of all the diners telling her that she won’t be doing this job or that job. If she had worked for me or spoken to my mother like that she would have had a kick up the backside. Unfortunately they had a sign on the door begging for staff. The food, the portions are large and it’s great value. If they got some new staff in I think they would do very well.

I'll never be back after damaging my truck on the new dirt mound out front. Clearly don't want our business.I had even been back after being served raw chicken...

The food was pretty good, the place is a little aged and took a little but the food was fresh. There’s a playground for the kids. A little unkept and dark at night but good for energy. The staff seemed to disappear so we were unable to thank them
