Digraceful!Whoever was driving down Williams Road today at approximately 15:20 myself and my wife noticed a truck with the rego TAL 400 swirving in and out of traffic being driven that erratically we genuinely nearly called the police as the driver nearly caused multiple accidents and was screaming out of the window at people.Not good in any situation let alone a company vehicle.

Cannot speak more highly about this company. They really came through and made our event a great success.With all the last minute changes and additions, nothing seemed a problem.What an efficient organisation, and such nice people. I am a customer for life!Thankyou Melbourne Table and Chair hire

Poor customer service and the owner Marcus needs to work on his business etiquette. Requested to have a few things removed from the quote as we didn't require them anymore, Marcus removed the items however then added the cost of the removed items to the delivery fee so the overall quote remined the same price however with less items. When I questioned is this was a simple error I was met with extreme rudeness telling me I cant tell him how to run his business and then continued to advise me that the items I was after are no longer in stock. I called Marcus as emails can sometimes be taken out of context however I was met again with a barrage of unprofessionalism with Marcus once again abusing me and telling me that he doesn't have time to deal with with this and that I wouldn't find these items to hire cheaper anywhere else. A few phone calls to other businesses I was able to find the same items for the same price - word of advise to anyone looking to hire from this company, search around as I found other businesses that weren't only helpful but understood how to correctly run a business.

These guys are just the best. We’ve used them often over the years. Their pricing is more than reasonable, the products they deliver are great, they always turn up on time and their staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We’ll continue to use Marcus and his team for all our events. If you need additional furniture or equipment for parties then you cannot go wrong using them. Can’t rate them highly enough!!

I hired a small number of tables and chairs for a birthday party. The service was fine. What wasn’t fine four days later, was the extreme road rage and dangerous driving witnessed by the very same gentleman that had come and picked up the table and chairs.As I was driving north down Coppin Street between Palmer Street and Highett Street at 8:35 am on Friday 4 Feb 2022, I slowed down due to a cyclist and two teenage boys wearing Richmond High uniforms riding the new e-scooters without helmets.A small white flat deck truck started blasting the horn behind me. Looking in the rearview mirror, I saw the guy was screaming at me and throwing his arms around motioning me to hurry up. The kids took an exit and headed towards school but the irate gentleman behind me was still going crazy. Therefore I slowed down further.Enraged by this, the gentleman swerved across the median between the trees and barriers squealing tyres. Speeding, he drove on the wrong side of the road and then crossed sharply in front of me, cutting up the cyclist (that was still in front of me), before swerving left at the roundabout up Highett Street. It was at this point when I realised why he looked familiar as I saw the COMPANY SIGNAGE on the side of his truck: 'Melbourne Table and Chairs'.The dense number of primary and high school kids in the morning in this area made his aggressive driving especially dangerous!Given his anger issues at being delayed by 30 seconds on a small stretch of inner-city roading, I would never use Melbourne Table and Chairs again.

I recently used Melbourne Table & Chair Hire after another company let me down at the very last minute. They made it easy to re-book all of the equipment I needed and deliver that same day ready for the weekend, all of this was at a cheaper price than the company I had initially intended on using. On arrival the guys delivered and set-up the equipment as requested, they were open to layout suggestions and were happy to move things around to get the best look for our party. The guys were friendly and polite and the stock was clean and well maintained, much better than other companies we have hired from in the past. We would definitely recommend these guys, they helped make our party a success when it was very nearly cancelled altogether at the very last minute! Thanks for your great work, guys!

I had use this Table and Chair hire company recently and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. My wife has book them to set up all table and chair in functions place where we was expecting 100 guests. Marcus and team came few hours ago and delivered all items. They arrange all table and chair and it was great experience .Good thing was when we finish party, Table hire boys was there to pick up. They help us so we all can wind up on time. I would like to say THANK YOU all all of staff and would like to recommended to my friend and family.

Just needed to say thank you to Melbourne Table and Chair Hire for setting up my backyard 21st and making it so easy. I was able to book a marquee, dance floor, LED tables and chairs all through E-mail on short notice. Marcus came out to measure up my backyard for the marquee and dance floor and and the boys put everything up the next day. The set up looked great and was packed up quickly on Monday. I will definitely be hiring from Melbourne Table and Chair Hire again.

I have had to hire tables & chairs for multiple functions I’ve organised for work purposes. As well as marquees from time to time. The deliveries have always been on time & the stock is all in good condition. No damage or major signs of wear & tear. I work for a not for profit so budgets are always tight. The hire costs are very reasonable compared to other hire companies. Would recommend.

From the first contact, MT&CH were fantastic - Charlie was polite, helpful and knew his stuff (prices, availability etc.) He even followed up my order. I was able to pick-up and drop off with my own trailer and there were heaps of hands to help with the load and unload. Very professional and friendly to deal with - no fuss, everything I needed. Definitely using MT&CH again. If only everyone had this high level of good old-fashioned customer service!!
