Churchills Carpet Court

Myself and wife decided to put some vinyl flooring in our apartment and chose Churchill carpets Hamilton boy was that the worst mistake of our life. Installation from the company that they use well I would be embarrassed if I was them I not even sure they are qualified,took three times to get the bathroom right used the wrong clue three times pretty dumb I know then we move to the kitchen well not much better vinyl planks have waves in them because they didn't prepare the floor properly, so if you want a whole lot of stress pick these people.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. I phoned the store to enquire how to go about getting a bedroom of carpet installed (within a short time frame) as I had never had carpet installed before. The sales lady I spoke to said I could send photos and hopefully match it just by the photos to save time. She couldn't quite tell the colour so I went into store and matched the colour myself after being shown samples - not once did she mention she was unsure on the actual carpet type. The day the carpet was supposed to be installed (Friday), I received a phone call from the installer saying he could not attend that day (this was after the time he was supposed to arrive) but said he could attend the next day (Saturday) at 8:30/9am instead. It was not until 12pm the following day that someone arrived to install the carpet with no apology. Once the carpet was installed, it was VERY obvious this did not match my previous carpet as well as having a huge lump near the middle of the room. I contacted the store and was told to call back on Monday when the sales lady I spoke to was back in store. I called back on Monday to be told she was not in store and call back tomorrow. I sent her an email explaining the situation and asked if she could please call me when she had a chance on Tuesday. She emailed me back after 10am and said 'that's a shame' regarding the carpet not matching and included prices for the NEW matching carpet I now required plus installation again even though the actual installation of the carpet was a horrible job. I phoned her to discuss the carpet price (which she did not budge on even though this was partially her fault) she was very rude and abrupt. I had to accept the price she quoted as I had no other choice because I was running extremely short on time by this stage. All in all, I think it was very unfair for the store not to offer a discount of half price due to this particular sales persons actions as well as myself having to pay for install again even though the original installation had a huge lump. A single room of carpet which should have been $600 ended up costing me over $1000 and took weeks to complete. If I was told in the first place it needed to be matched in person and not by photos, this whole situation would have been avoided.

Save your time and go somewhere else. 24 hrs to borrow some LVT samples! other places will happily give you a sample to keep. Women at the front desk needs some customer service training. Boxes laying over display products, no labels so couldn't tell what I was looking at. Walked in and pretty much walked straight back out again, if that's how much effort they put into getting your business imagine what they're like once they get it!Only put 1 star as I can't post with negative stars

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great sample setup and staff are more than happy to discuss options and provide samples to take home.In home measure and quotes are free. Churchill's sold and laid the vinyl planks throughout the house and the carpet in my master bedroom. I am amazed with the final result! Customer service and professionalism of the tradesman was second to none.

We upgraded the carpets in all our bedrooms as we have 3 kids and needed something better and couldn't be happier with the results.Expert advice from friendly staff and a huge range to choose from.Measure ,quote and install was quick and easy and the carpet feels incredible, spills wipe up a breeze which is was what we were looking for.It's the only place I would go for flooring.

I’ve had Nick at Churchill’s do carpet and flooring for 2 houses now, both times have been a great experience, nothing was a problem, they had great options to meet our budget. The last time I had a very tight timeline and Nick moved things around to make it happen and get us in our home quicker.

Carpet court gave a great quote, much cheaper and easier to deal with than competitive stores. The company delivered on everything offered and did an excellent job with the installation of our floating floors. We will be back to finish off the remainder of the house with them. Highly recommend!

I recently purchased the flooring for our new office through Churchills. The manager was fantastic to deal with, extremely informative and a pleasure to do business with. There were no delays throughout the entire project and I was kept up to date with all proceedings. Pricing was spot on, if not better then competitors. Highly recommended!

Called in this morning to find some bamboo flooring to replace a damaged section of my floor. They didn’t have the product I was looking for. I asked if they knew anywhere else that might have some and the lady’s response was a very blunt “I only know what I have in my store” Very unhelpful rude response in my opinion. I wouldn’t recommend going to this store unless you know exactly what they already have in stock

I recently purchased carpet from Churchills Carpet court. It was the most pleasant process. I was kept well informed by their staffer Nick, such a nice guy with outstanding customer service who is dedicated to all things flooring. The install was also very quick and efficient. Their carpet layers are very respectful of your property. I highly recommended to use this company for all your flooring needs.
