I have been looking for a transformer to use my Canadian electronics here in Australia. Matt was great. Took the time to really listen to my needs and give me the product that was right for Me. Tall large guy with the beard was rude and cocky. When asked a few straightforward questions on what power adapter was suitable for what globe he huffed at me and said can someone else deal with this guy… and I’m done. Get out of customer service mate! The lovely helpful guy who served me after was on point and I walked out with the parts I needed. Thanks champion!

Lost channels. Went into Jaycar for some advice regarding lost channels the gentleman that served me suggested starting with the good old fashioned “rabbit ears”. And if that doesn’t work the next step set top box. Went home Auto tuned and “happy dance” $12.95 best spent. Always go to Jaycar for electronic advice they never fail to deliver. Thank you very much.

Awesome service! I went in looking for a particular product about 15 mins before they shut today. the guys had the friendliness to ask why I needed it, and when I explained they correctly pointed out it wasn't going to do what I wanted. they explained it perfectly and found me the best and cheapest option, waiting patiently while I called home to see what inputs/outputs my device had. This was all right at the end of their day too. Couldn't ask for better service :)

This place is like nerd city galore. Love the place. Signed up for membership on the first visit. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Return policy isn’t as good as some of the bigger companies but if you ask the manager nicely, she might be a bit more flexible with you :)

I like the shops and have been a customer for a while, but have to say customer service can be shocking at times with experienced staff apparently being amused at customer questions. I'm seriously considering never going back and would advise anyone that goes to these shops to brace themselves for potentially having staff rolling their eyes at your question. Probably should have learnt everything beforehand so I wouldn't have any questions, or just head to Scorptec maybe, seems faster!! Quite disappointing....!

Jaycar is great for a few main reasons: lots of locations, good opening hrs and knowledgable staff.Speaking about electronics components amd equipment:Is there range somewhat limited and their prices a bit high…. Yes, but that is fine because you can go and actually see the things you are looking at buying, its a real brick and mortar store so of-course that is the case.If you know what you want exactly or want a lot of something, then mouser is your best bet, but if you need something today, just need one or two of something, or arnt an expert then this is the place

Bought an extender from Jaycar and just couldn't get it to connect. Infact sent messages to the company as there was no contact number. Called jaycar and spoke with ASHLEY...he went through the process and got it working. Cannot thank him enough for being so patient and assisting someone with minimal tech knowledgeknowledge
