The service was excellent, from design to build to installation. The design was collaborative and innovative, perfectly suiting my needs. And the recycled timber used was treated with respect and care resulting in a truly stunning piece. I would highly recommend Eco wood design.

Stephen Ziguras of Eco wood design came and met with my wife and I and immediately it was clear that we had approached the right person. The whole design process was constructive, Stephen is a good listener, quickly understanding our wants in terms of design and wood type and with his obvious experience was able to put ideas forward that only added to the success of our little project. Stephen didn’t rest there and throughout the project, from our first meeting with him to the delivery of our table and entertainment unit, continued to put forward suggestions that we discussed as a group until a clear decision was made.We are very happy with the end result, a table that asks to be looked at and touched, that sings when we sit down to eat, and an entertainment unit that far surpasses any premade unit we looked at prior to engaging Stephen. Stephen’s choices and sensitivity to the timber enabled him to use the grain to is advantage, one example is we now have grain running along the front of our entertainment unit across two sliding doors and two draws. In anyone else’s hands flashy but in Stephen’s this only brought out the warmth of the timber.Having looked for and researched both tables and entertainment units for a while we could not recommend Stephen highly enough. The standard of Stephen’s workmanship is impeccable.

Stephen has only just delivered a beautiful walnut and blackwood cabinet for our sound system, records and CD’s. We could not be more pleased. We immediately liked his initial creative concept and enjoyed his collaborative approach to finalising the design. What was impressive about Steve was not only the outstanding table he made for us, but also the serious time and effort he took to consult with us, listen to what we wanted and put up with our procrastination. Stephen designed and built me a wonderful bespoke, wooden (messmate) wine rack (32 bottle). He took plenty of time to test out his design ideas with me and, as a result, I now have a real showpiece of a wine rack. Extremely satisfied customer!

Stephen did a great job on the custom timber furniture he fabricated for our spare bedroom. These included a bay window seat with storage, built in cupboard with shelving and a built in desk. He worked with us to the deliver the design we were looking for. He communicated well during the construction to confirm specific fixings (such as handles and hinges) and when the design would best be altered to improve it.
