Over a period of many years Mitch has provided me with 2 sessions a week of stretching and resistance exercises, in person and later on zoom. During this time he has kept me very much more comfortable at the age of 87 than I observe in people of a similar age. I am greatly indebted to him.

For anyone looking for a personal trainer I cannot recommend Mitchell enough. I had committed myself to run a half marathon and needed a personal trainer to help me meet my goals - Mitchell far exceeded everything I could have asked or hoped for. He was supportive, patient and pushed me at the exact times I needed it. Proud to say I completed the half marathon last weekend, and looking forward to seeing what challenge we can take on next. It's very hard for me to express my experience working with Mitchell!All I can say atm is that his coaching has taken me to another level. It has been life changing to say the least!What Mitchell offers is a unique learning experience that is tailored for the serious athlete. At the same time, he has a level of depth and wisdom to get to the bottom of things.Over the time spent with the Coach, I have learned a lot more about myself, have changed a great deal of stuff for the good (somethings that have taken me years) and ultimately have come out winning!I'm doing loads better in my sports and my performance has gone through the roof! Mitchell is an excellent PT and lifestyle coach. There are not many PTs who are willing to work with unsporty, non-athletic older women with structural issues, but Mitch was willing to work with my Osteo to develop the perfect support program for my body. Our sessions were always great fun - another rare skill for a PT! Highly recommended and Mitch will always be my first choice.

I was lucky enough to be involved in a masterclass with Mitchell Woods as a part of my Amplify mens support group that is run by Nick Perry. Mitchell’s knowledge of nervous system regulation, heart rate variability, heart-brain coherence, and overall human performance is extensive. And this couldn’t be more evident in the way he presented the information and data he’s collect through working with some of the worlds best athletes. His depth of experience was also evident in the way he conducted an incredible Heart Math Institute meditation which was expertly paced allowing me to connect to the essence of my heart intelligence. The combination of heart centred breathing and structured lengthened breathing allowed my nervous system to regulate very quickly. I was able experience profoundly deep emotions of peace, calm, appreciation and love. I have continued to do this meditation on my own and have noticed a deepening of this experience, calling upon elevated emotions from the heart with more and more clarity and ease. When Glandular Fever & an Iron Deficiency struck my 15 year old daughter who is an elite swimmer and AFL Academy player, I knew we needed to find her some help while she was recovering. She found it hard, mentally and physically, to complete training sessions as well as a full day at school. Mitchell Woods was recommended to us and has been a huge part of her journey to recovery. He supported her and taught her to be kind to herself over many months. Mitchell was just the person she needed in her life as she dealt with the daily fatigue that no one else could understand. She is now almost fully recovered and back doing what she loves and achieving great results thank you to Michell. Can’t recommend his one on one sessions highly enough.

I have suffered back pain for over 30 years, after a workplace accident. I have sought relief from many practitioners, including physiotherapy, osteopath, acupuncture, and cortisone injections. I tried swimming, yoga and pilates all having varying degrees of success. But Mitchells knowledge and experience working with chronic pain, his understanding of the nervous system and how it impacts our movement, has made such a dramatic improvement to my life, having the tools to deal with the pain and the exercises to continually improve both my nervous and muscular systems have been fantastic. 3 months working with Mitchell has taken me to the next level. I look forward to completing the journey to recovery. Highly recommended.

My son has recently completed the 6 week Meta Athlete course with Mitch. It was just what he needed. He could do all the nutrition and physical training possible but the mental side of his cricket was something he hadn’t done before.He has now set short and long term goals which is great for him to measure and work towards. This year he has been selected in North Coastal Academy, Far North Coast Academy, Bradman Cup, Green Shield (Manly), debuted for 1st Grade and Captained the Far North Coast team at the Stan Austin Cup where he was named Highest Run Scorer of the Carnival with 134 runs off 103 balls. These are all milestones for Ryan and he has taken on these opportunities with enthusiasm and when things haven’t gone his way he looks for the positive and learns from the experience.I have seen a maturity with his cricket since the course as well. He looks and plays more confidently. I have even felt more relaxed watching and enjoying his game knowing that he has the tools and techniques to focus when batting or in pressure situations. I had commented to Ryan after his game how well he played and he replied that it was all the work he has been doing with Mitch (breathwork and meditating).A big thank you to Mitchell for the opportunity for Ryan to partake in his course, it is something he will benefit from during his cricket journey for years to come. I would highly recommend to any parents to enrol their aspiring athlete in this course as it has so many benefits.Anne-Maree

Mitchell Woods was engaged as personal trainer and performance coach for our son, Jackson, in February 2021. Jackson participates in motorsport and requires peak fitness, strength, mental toughness and discipline. To say that Mitchell is outstanding is an understatement. Mitchell trains, guides and supports Jackson with integrity, commitment, passion and genuine care. Mitchell has consistently and continuously impressed us with his understanding of Jackson as an athlete and teenager. Mitchell adapts his approach to deliver the best results from Jackson on any given day. He has never stopped encouraging Jackson and supporting him throughout his motorsport journey. Good days, bad days, whether Jackson is at his peak, or at his worst and feeling defeated, tired, or injured, Mitchell is always there to find the path forward and guide Jackson to it. He has an incredible skill of being able to read his clients and adapt each session to ensure he is getting the best out of them. Mitchell has been an amazing role model and mentor to Jackson. He has a strong focus on mental health and communication. We are so grateful to Michell for his commitment, effort, and skill in training and coaching Jackson. He has been the driving force behind Jackson in his achievements and self-belief throughout his motorsport journey so far.
