After our fur kids had a little bit of a tiff and one of them walked away with some battle scars we are so glad we contacted GV Vets.Frances very kindly came in after hours to help our dog and we couldn't be happier! Frances was so kind, caring and a great laugh! After moving back to Shepparton after living in Melbourne for 5 years, we were a little worried about going somewhere new. But we're so glad to have found our new local! Thank you Frances! You're amazing!

A huge thank you to the team at GV Vets! After rushing my pup to the after hours emergency with a very traumatic fitting event, Francis could not have been more incredible! The care she provided to my baby and myself as a very distraught dog mumma was second to none!The information provided upon pick up, the care from the team and even a follow up call today (a week after the event) to check on my baby and her condition, if you're looking for a caring, family feel for your vet this is the place!I will never be able to thank Francis and the team enough for what they have done, they saved my sweet girl and for that I am forever grateful!Many many huge thank yous again! xxx

Our cat had sudden acute kidney failure and we kept him alive for as long as possible. Eventually he needed to be put to sleep. But we were worried about the process of euthanasia since a friend had his cat put to sleep by a vet in Mooroopna and it was a 'botched euthanasia' - they injected the deadly liquid into the cats vein and it started convulsing and foaming at the mouth and it took at least 5 minutes to die.We requested the Shepp Vets to put our cat under anaesthesia before any euthanasia took place. They understood our concerns completely and came to our home for the process. They injected our furbaby into the muscle with a high dose barbituate which slowly put him to sleep. We were able to comfort him as he got sleepy and sleepier. When he was completely asleep they injected the poison into his heart (he felt nothing) and he passed away very peacefully. This is how euthanasia should be done!! Great job to the team at Shepp Vets. And thankyou for the wonderful card you mailed us regarding the loss of our beloved cat.

Best Vets in Shepparton. Couldn't recommend them more. Knowledgeable, Kind, and supportive staff members. Warm and welcoming facility. If you are new to pet ownership they explain things and take the time to teach you how to care for your fur mates.

My first experience of this vet clinic was when I had to get our 18yo cat put to sleep...the staff were absolutely wonderful, and so understanding and compassionate. I was very surprised when I lovely card and paw print of our family cat arrived a few weeks later in the mail. A lovely gesture which wasn’t expected. Not my usual vets but will be changing over to this clinic moving forward with my other animals.

GV vets advised to my family that our dog was terminal and needed to be put down due to a tumour bursting. Having circumstances, some of us were unable to get home in time so it was postponed until next week. We got a second opinion elsewhere just incase and were advised that it was just a cut that was sustained in our backyard and she is not terminal or will be needing to be put down.Perhaps competent training is to be put in place so the correct information is delivered. We are livid

Impressed with my first experience visiting this vet. Had a very sick cat and was told to bring her immediately. Found the staff to be caring and knowledgeable. Prices were also reasonable. My cat is now much better and I owe it all to them!
