Beautiful and challenging walk. Hop over the locked fence, and then just keep the barbed wire fence (QLD/NSW border) on your left and you can't go wrong. No trail markers required.Be warned, this is in the upper range of tougher bushwalks. The start through sugar cane & bamboo is a tough uphill stretch and further up, some scrambling is required. A walking pole is recommended, particularly for the downhill. About 4-5 hours including water breaks.Worth it though - quiet and secluded in a beautiful part of Queensland. Plenty of interesting fauna including lace monitor and a red belly black. Did not go through cave at the very top as time was against us, but we'll be back to complete soon

This is the start of a fantastic walk, if you love great views and are up for a challenge go for it.

have to pass locked gate to access trailhead, access road is in poor condition, track is not well marked, insufficient information for walkers.
