Australia Post - Doreen LPO

I have my PO BOX there, so I have lots of chances to visit the post office. Recently, I had to send a parcel urgently. The staff was very helpful and asked the Postal driver to wait for my parcel for couple of minutes while I finish writing quickly, so that the urgent parcel can be collected and delivered immediately to the sorting location for quick processing.The whole team of Doreen LPO is extremely professional, polite and genuinely customer focused. On number of occasions, they have gone extra mile to ensure a great customer experience. And the best bit is, no matter how busy they get the service doesn't get affected. Easily the best post office I have come across.

ALL of the lovely ladies who work here -- Muskan, Belinda, Di, Elena & Lou -- are ALWAYS helpful, professional and considerate. Unfortunately, because it's Australia, there are always a few whingers and self-involved Baby-men and women who occasionally throw a fit and complain if or when they decide to go to the post officer during the busiest times (lunch, or on Saturdays, or after 3 p.m., when the going-home crowd hits). Fortunately, as stated above, all the ladies and workers at the Doreen Post office are understanding and patient, and as helpful as can be.

i came to this post office to renew my passport and i didn’t realise i had the incorrect documents. the lady that served me was extremely blunt and rude and was not helpful in pointing me in the right direction. i asked if she knew how long it would take for me to get in contact with the DFAT team, and her response was “i don’t know, i don’t work for the passport office”. would not recommend this post office as this lady had been rude on numerous occasions.

An elderly relative sent my grandson a Christmas present recently but she forgot to write street name on the address. I was very impressed and appreciative on hearing that an employee from Doreen Postoffice contacted my elderly relative by phone, to ask my grandson's street name and number, so they could get the parcel delivered. The parcel arrived at the front door next day. Well done Doreen Postoffice !

I would dare to say that from all the Australia Post stores I had to deal with until now, the Doreen one is the worst by far. Inefficiency, rudeness and slowness in their purest form. I hope this situation changes. Meanwhile, I’ll be going somewhere else.

Shoutout to staff at Doreen Postoffice who are SO HELPFUL! Genuinely excellent customer service.I have a growing online business and have been regularly doing my postage with these guys most days of the week.They made sure we weren’t overpaying when posting our packages - friendly and knowledgeable - made the process easy and enjoyable. It is a busy post office though. Staff genuinely engages with customers which is very rare in customer service nowadays.Thank you guys !

Multiple times I have not been at home to receive my parcel and the driver has dropped it to this post office and left a collection slip, I have also tracked my orders which show they have been dropped there. However, the staff here clearly cannot be bothered sorting through parcels that are dropped off at the end of the day and told me to come back “after the weekend”, even though my parcel was literally sitting out the back. Do better Australia Post, and maybe hire some staff who don't speak to customers with such hostility.

Such a great little Post Office. The ladies are always happy to see me and greet me with a smile.
