Recommended by local. Right outside the south end of the ferry terminal. Friendly and reasonable fast services. Great fluffy pancakes and good coffee!

We went there few weeks ago. Enjoying the vibes, staff and especially food.The German waitress explain to us the menu kindly. She was always smiling making us happy. Really good place and good job chef

If you don't come to Blu Marlin Bistro at the Marlin Wharf when you come to Cairns you are doing yourself an injustice. It is a holistic experience with unbelievable food & coffee the service is second to none. We dine here every day and have never been disappointed. Well done to all the staff & management. Thanks

Ordered a couple of dishes to share between two.Pasta was in puddle of oil with only a few prawns.I didn’t mind it but my fiancé wasn’t a fan.The calamari dish was more like chips with a garnish of calamari.Mojito was not on the menu but they were happy enough to make it. If it was carbonated and not flat it would have been pretty good.There was nothing bad enough to complain about and nothing good enough to praise food wise.Staff were pleasant and attentive, food came out fairly quickly.There is alot more to choose from the menu for breakfast options.

Absolute great place for breakfast, the mushroom on pumpkin bread with cucumber, spinach and different sauces was amazing, the berry smoothie extra crispy bacon to top it off which was tasty! Coffee is also great. Highly recommend!

Great options for breakfast! Fabrizio service was great! The only bad point I asked for a juice that paid 10 $ without added ice and they brought me a very small tiny glass...(like ridiculously small) and the waiter was suggesting that juice to start...while the juice is xl in the menu picture! and their exuses were that I asked for no ice ...if that incident did not happen....I would have given 5 stars I just felt screwed..

My partner and I had Brekky here and we’re very impressed. The Smashed Avo with some bacon looked amazing and tasted just as good. The coffee was great, love the blend they are using. Not bitter at all. Staff were really friendly as well. Great job Blu Marlin team!

One of my favorite cafe in Cairns!Really love to spending time here after morning walk along esplanade. Delicious food with nice beach view. And also the service from the Fabrizio, one of the staff is amazing.

Found myself in Cairns after getting off the cruise ship docked in the port looking for a breakfast.I found it a little strange that walking along the boardwalk, most of the cafes closer to the port were closed given there was a cruise ship in town with 2000+ passengers about to get off the ship.Blu Marlin Bistro was the first cafe I found that was open so we popped in.The coffee was good, the big breakfast was great too, I don't usually like mushrooms but they were sauteed quite nicely giving them a nice flavour. The hash browns were some of the nicest I've had too.Although the sausages with the big breakfast, maybe swap out the Bunnings snags for continental sausages and it would be bang on perfect.Service is good, we got seated and served quickly with our coffees arriving promptly, the front of house crew are friendly and chatty which is a nice touch - keep up the good work.I can recommend Blu Marlin Bistro, a short walk down the boardwalk from the cruise ship terminal and the food and coffee are on point.
