Easels Galore

I purchased the aluminium, folding easel (Ebel) from Easels Galore; it is well-balanced and lightweight (perfect for travel) and very easy to set up and pack away. Ordering was simple and my parcel arrived safely within a couple of days, with standard postage. Very efficient. Quality, price and communication with Jeff was all excellent.

We moved to a place with more glass than walls and so needed an easel to display large heavy artwork. Easels Galore offered a number of very good solutions. We bought the steel easel and it is perfect for our purposes. Jeff is very helpful and prompt with his responses. Highly recommended.

I wasn’t sure what easel to get initially and Jeff kindly explained a few options to me. I decided on a table easel and it just arrived! Very well made and very sturdy, more sturdy than I expected. You just can’t find easels this high quality in art stores. I highly recommend easelsgalore if you are serious about art!

Thank you Jeff, for your very prompt service, my new easel arrived today. The easel is totally as described. The sturdy bag it comes in makes it very portable. With all its adjustment capabilities I'm sure it's going to make my painting a whole lot easier. ( I like to paint standing up but even though I'm vertically challenged painting at my desk just doesnt work, its too low! ). I can adjust this easel  to suit me. Already set it up in my creative space.  All in all I'm very happy with my purchase.Carol

Thank you Jeff for your amazing easel. I bought the HCH2000 (with counterweight) and cannot get over the quality; strong, super stable and the counterweight mechanism works exceptionally well. Don't waste your money buying something imported, these easels will last you a lifetime.

I looked at hundreds of easels before finally settling on Jeff Lacey's easels. I found the level of craftsmanship and customizability to be effortlessly superior to the vast majority of available products on the market. It is incredibly intuitive to use and set up, with a lot of thought invested in the comfort of the artist. The quality of its construction is meant to last a lifetime, and is so aesthetically pleasing that it becomes its own focal point in any studio space. Made me grateful to be in Australia where I could place an order - although he does ship internationally.

I’ve been using my fully-folding horizontal-to-vertical easel (FFHVX) for over a month now, and I can say without hesitation that this is the best easel I’ve ever used. I needed a large easel that would allow me to position the canvas at different angles and vertical heights that was sturdy enough to support the weight of the canvas and frame. The FFHVX provides all the fine adjustment, balance and support I need, indeed more than I had expected to be able to find in an easel.The easel itself is a work of fine craftsmanship. Aesthetically it is a nice addition to my rather small inner-city apartment and everyone who sees it comments on it favourably. The easel is constructed of Victorian Ash, oiled to bring out its natural warmth, generously proportioned lengths 6cm wide and approximately 22cm thick, with 3cm wooden knobs that are pleasant to use and can be adjusted easily with the canvas in place. The hardware is rust-proof steel positioned to make for easy maintenance.Setup was a simple matter, and I had the easel ready to go in a matter of minutes. The included instructions are easy to follow and it’s clear the assembly procedure had, like everything else, been considered in advance. The only tool I needed was an adjustable spanner.The ordering process was refreshingly easy. After I had described what I was looking for Jeff recommended the FFHVX and answered any questions I had quickly and thoroughly. He gave me a time estimate that proved to be spot-on and kept me updated at every stage of the process.To say that I’m satisfied with the easel is an understatement. It’s a pleasure to own. Jeff has included instructions for proper maintenance (tightening the bolts, oiling the wood), and there’s something unexpectedly satisfying in looking after the easel. That it is produced in Australia by a craftsman who takes pride in his work is just the icing on the cake.

The lightweight, travel easel was packed properly and arrived promptly in excellent condition. It's easy to set up too. I also bought a tray to go with it, and will easily hold my palette and brushes. It is excellent quality.What a find at a good price! Thanks Jeff.
