Frankly, an unfriendly experience.Took my 5 yo daughter for a cut & style this afternoon. Our 'greeting' set the tone, although we were right on time. The stylist didn't say a word apart from telling her to keep still then asking me to hold her head straight! Instead of loving it as she always does, it was the opposite. At that point I suggested she actually speak with & engage my daughter personally, which she slowly did, with a great result.The price was very reasonable, but I won't take her there again.

I dropped in yesterday and got a hair cut and was attended to straight away. The young girl that washed and cut my hair was thoroughly delightful and just gorgeous. The haircut is first class and I will be back. Didn't get her name but very satisfied

This has got to be the most OG style place to get ya hair needs looked after!! ... They've been awesome for... my guess, over 40 years!! ... great people still work and run the place. I still hold these guys proudly responsible for some of my way earlier years, crazy crazy hair styles and some of my much more respectable styles :)

First time getting hair cut here today after trying and being disappointed with every other hairdresser in Mount Barker. Absolutely top bloke and best haircut by Steffan. Awesome salon, awesome staff, awesome cut and great price. I cannot rate this place highly enough!

1st cut here. Happy with results.Premises clean, spacious & airy.Staff very pleasant.Getting to be a regular. Perm & cuts since. Very pleased with results as my hair has a mind of its own. Now I look at least human.Great owners & staff.

I went to get my hair cut and I show them the photo what I want, they said they can do it but is turn out really bad and short when I didn’t asked for a short hair cut. Never going back here again

I had my hair cut and coloured here in early December. Was very apprehensive when it comes to people touching my hair as I've had multiple bad experiences. But the reviews were okay so I booked myself in.I identified a trouble spot of grey hair to the hairdresser, stating it's the whole reason I'm dying my hair again after years of growing it out. He seemed to understand. I liked the final colour, but he completely missed the trouble area and the colour is 2cm from my scalp so looks like it's already starting to grow out. I now have to style my hair a certain way to hide the trouble spot.Plus when he started cutting my hair I noticed that the scissors were so blunt they were tugging on my hair as he cut.To top it off when he started blow drying my hair the brush he used smelt so bad, like wet dog. I tried getting his attention but it basically ignored me the whole time, didn't want to chat. I had to wash my hair as soon as I got home because I could smell the 'wet dog' scent.Also I was really displeased with how the older gentleman (maybe the owner) spoke and treated another customer who wanted his hair cut a certain style. The hairdresser told him no and this is how it should be cut. The guy looked so angry when he finished cutting it. Words were said that I couldn't hear, but they weren't words of thanks.I person have big problem confronting people, I should have said something when I was finished but it's something I find impossible to do. I will not be back, I will not recommend them to anyone.
