Had an informal work breakfast today and it was great. Early opener with great coffee, delicious and huge breaky baguette and really friendly service. Lots of choices of where to sit as a group both inside and out and my dog appreciated being welcome.What a bonus to see one of your regulars, Buddy F. off the field and his gorgeous daughter.

Great bright space. Food came out fast and was very tasty. The shakshuka was rich and full of flavour - not generic tinned tomatoes here. Baguette was crunchy on the outside, and super fluffy inside. Paired well.

Cute spot and good coffee! The only thing I don't like (which is a big negative in my opinion) is that they serve EVERYTHING in takeaway style, even if eating or drinking in... it's not sustainable/good for the environment... if not for this my review would be 4 stars.

Since taking over this place a few months ago, Jono has transformed what used to be a rather dreary and unappetising place into a bright, cheerful and popular little cafe on the corner of Old South Head and Dover Roads in Rose Bay. Staff are friendly, efficient and polite and there’s always Jono behind the counter, a reassuring presence making sure that everything is running smoothly.I usually pop in almost every morning for a cup of coffee, but they also have delicious baguettes, toasted sandwiches, salads, and filling Israeli breakfasts.There is both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is on the pavement in front, or in the little courtyard at the back. There are two indoor sections: front and back, so plenty of space. I prefer the front, especially the comfy counter seating at the window, where I can watch the passing parade outside on Old South Head Rd, while sipping my coffee and reading the newspapers they generously provide. A great way to start the day..There’s a single, clean and modern toilet at the back in the courtyard area.If you’re looking for parking, you can usually find something not too far away on Dover Rd, where there are no restrictions.Jono’s Kitchen is a great new addition to the cafe scene in Rose Bay.

Cinnamon bakes are delicious and freshly baked. Came here a handful of times the blonde lady is super kind and provides friendly service.Unfortunately Other times the bald guy was cold and rude and took 15 minutes to make a coffee with none in the place but cause he was talking through the window and did not pay attention to the docs. I had to have all my bakes alone and then go claim my coffee for take away cause the guy didn’t want to stop talking and start working. If you don’t like your job just quit mate you’re making the place look horrible.All the food is in take away containers even though you eat in the place. Also 1 star less.
