The Continental Sorrento
After a long time renovating The Continental Hotel, I'm happy to say it was worth the wait. The decor looked great, the food was well done and the staff were extremely helpful.Cocktails weren't amazing so a bit of room for improvement with drinks.It was a shame parts of the venue were blocked off for a function. The club at the back looked great but didn't really kick off when we were there.Glad to see another venue has popped up to help the Sorrento Hotel with the demand in the area.

Nice venue, looks great and plenty of seating. Mushroom boas were much bigger than expect which was good but boa buns were a bit dry. Would return if in the area to try for dinner.

The location is great. We sat outside on a sunny which is lovely. The food we ordered was ... fine if had gone to a Cafe or another pub. However my expectations were a bit higher for this place. There are QR codes on the table to order, but what is not obvious is that you must go up to the bar to order drinks. When you scan the QR code it gives you the option to order and pay for drinks which isn't what you are to do.We ordered GF pizza, again if this was 10 years ago I would be happy with having the option of GF pizza but we are past that and it was a below average GF pizza base. Chips were fine but not GF. Beef Tataki was tasty (wasnt marked as GF either) but tiny beef pieces covered with a lot of greens so not worth it.

The vibe was great but food was less than average, especially for the high price point. The kingfish soba noodle salad was a mushy mixture with no flavor, similar to a pre-made salad you’d get at petrol station. The pork bao bun was the worst I’ve ever had, with a sliver of pork belly within a bland and soggy bun. The wine and overall ambiance of the patio was enjoyable, which is the only saving grace of this experience.

We had the slow cooked roast lamb for 2 and it was amazing. Excellent value and the best lamb I have EVER had. The whole meal was delicious, especially the Yorkshire puddings. Staff remembered that we had noted on our booking that it was our anniversary and we were provided with complimentary glasses of sparkling - a lovely unexpected touch which was much appreciated. Wonderful personalised service. Chef Nevin your roast was just fabulous. Well done Team Conti!

Booked for 6pm dinner on a rainy Sunday, not too busy, parked right out front. Sat in the beer garden and ordered pizza, salad and chips. Good service and really tasty.Beautifully renovated, first time back since it was the old Conti. Will definitely be back!

Visited the Conti for the first time since they reopened with dinner at the Atrium.Great looking space with high roof and clever design, also tables were well spaced out even with the demand for bookings.We ordered oysters, duck leg, spanner crab pasta and carrots. All the food was pretty on point in particular the duck was succulent and fell off the bone. Pasta was cooked perfectly as well. Finished off the night with the sundae dessert which we're glad we shared as it was a big bowl.Cocktails were great, in particular the amaretto sour, and wine list was quite reasonably priced.Service was very friendly and they tried very hard, although you could tell they were still a little green. Little details like our cocktail glasses not being cleared at all and the wine cap being left on the bottle were example of small things that overall just need tightening up.Overall though was a very enjoyable night and as semi-locals we will definitely be making it a frequent dining spot.

Great venue in Sorrento. So happy this historic building has finally gotten the renovation it deserved. Food was very good, decor and vibe was upscale chill.Would be good if there was more craft beer on tap, though.

Don't waste your time anywhere else but here i have now been here many times and can advise that these guys are the best in the Mornington peninsular. They deliver a premium service accompanied with the best menu with quality food. The setting here is so comfortable that we didn't want to leave. Don't waste your time looking at anywhere else we have many times . But every time we come here we are not disappointed at all.A credit to the team here who have provided a premium service at a reasonable price.
