Excellent trip. Murray was very knowledgeable, a tremendous croc & snake spotter, incredible ear for all the birds. Can't image a better tour specialized in wildlife in the area, we even got to visit the nests of three different heron species! Fully recommended.

Daintree Boatman Wildlife Cruises
Murray’s cruise was fantastic! We are birders, and he gave us amazing tips. He also went out of his way to find something for everyone on the boat- crocs, snakes, etc. The motor was extremely quiet and allowed for close-up looks at difficult species. When an unforeseen third-party reservation mix-up happened that was out of Murray’s control, he dealt with it in a very kind and professional manner. Very impressive. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone.

Daintree Boatman Wildlife Cruises
My family and I did an evening cruise and it was a fantastic experience. Murray’s knowledge of the river and its inhabitants is matched only by his ability to spot the tiniest birds in the trees and identify them in an instant. In addition to the bird life, we saw all three of the resident big crocs and even got a twilight swim-by from Barratt. Thoroughly recommend this tour. Murray’s boat is very comfortable and his use of petrol and electric motors means he can cover plenty of distance, but also get up close and personal with the wildlife without scaring them away.

Our late cruise along the Daintree River with Murray was wonderful. A small group tour ensured that those onboard were given personalised information. We were particularly interested in birdlife and David was keen to take photos, especially the Azure Kingfisher. Murray's keen eye for everything on the river and his depth of experience made the trip very worthwhile. Would highly recommend.Jennie and David Turner

Had a fantastic experience on the Daintree with Murray, who was very knowledgeable on all the wildlife and flora. The boat was very quiet and expertly skippered to get great views of cryptic wildlife. Highly recommend for wildlife lovers!

Daintree Boatman Wildlife Cruises
We did an evening cruise, it was cloudy, a bit rainy and high tide so not great conditions, but we were lucky to choose a cruise with such an experienced boatman, Murray. He was so knowledgeable and could see birds and snakes at a great distance and found a couple of crocodiles, one of which was just swimming near us. That was an incredible moment. I highly recommend this 2 hour trip instead of 1 hour, much higher chance to see what the river has to offer.

Today was our third cruise with Murray and we loved it just as much as our first. We've done both morning and afternoon cruises and enjoyed them both equally. Murray is an excellent guide with an incredible wealth of knowledge about the local area and it's inhabitants. I would thoroughly recommend Murray as even with a fully booked cruise this morning he was able to take care of everyone personally. Unreal tour, the guide was absolutely incredible and knowledgeable, very happy I went with a small boat rather than a big one being in a small group like this meant the tour guide would easily answer every question. We got extremely lucky seeing all types of weather the Daintree has on the tour and the sunset was incredible. Boat was nice and smooth and got no motion sickness. Don’t spend more on a big boat when you can go on one like this and get to know the tour guide and get the full experience of learning about the magic of this area.

Murray was fab and the tour on the river was educational, enjoyable and very much worth our time and money.Murray is super knowledgeable of the wildlife on the river. The birds especially but also the crocs and snakes.He was happy to take questions and really loved to pass on his knowledge.Would go again but would take binoculars next time.
