I built my home with Kurrajong 2 years ago and I am still chasing them to finish off the house. We were stupid enough to move in and pay our money with the promise that all the fix ups will be done on their 6 months mandatory revisit to the property. What they did not tell us is that we only had 6 months in which to complain to the QBCC on finishes and of course when we did ring them it was out of time, (but I think that rule has changed now). .We had to chase and chase for approx a year, and then eventually a few botched efforts were attempted withoput any follow up or supervision, We have been battling with them for two years now to finish the house which they have sent people back twice to finish it but each time they do a little bit and say they will come back once the plasterer has been, and the plasterer never comes. We have had Bill here promising that it will get done in January of this year but it is now July and we have not seen anybody. Which is a shame as they built a really nice house, it is just their finishings in which lets them down. They also built our pool which they dug the wrong way at the beginning with the deep end being at the wrong end which we decided for structual integrity and being a nice client , to acceprt. This would have cost them a huge bill to rectify. Also after we started using it we discovered that the glass tiles were left with a razors edge, and not recessed back so it was slicing open anyone that swam in the pool which was immediatly notified to them but they once again kept promising to get it done but after two years we paid for it to be fixed by a pool professional and sent them the invoicel which was very small and asked for reimbursement and they never responded to it. We are now left with the only recourse of chasing them through the courts or putting up with window sills that have been sanded back and not painted on a $750 000 house go figure. The paint on walls and doors is so thin that when brushged against, it shows the raw colour, door furniture was poorly installed, and our raw timber finished blistered and failed with in the first year requiring a professional to be employed by our selves to sand back and 3 coat. This was greeted by a sigh and a shrug of the shoulders when discussed with the representative. Dont pay in full until satisfied. Run fast as you can, Don't give them a cent, Both bathroom walls cracked at the horizontal joins, the roof leaked cause they did not use the correct sealant, the tiles in the shower cracked as they were not fitted correctly, once they have your signature on a contract they don't return your call.they have 1001 excuses why its your fault and not there'sbe warned stay clear.

Built my house 18 years ago. Still perfect.
