Happy Valley Reservoir Reserve
Wonderful trail here. Lots of wildlife. Really feels like a bush walk while you’re in here however beware that there are some trails that are closed and you will need to walk along the boundary (main roads) which is not quite as relaxing! Can’t wait til it’s all properly open, would love to give it another walk.

Always a pleasure to walk here but need a few seats along the trials. A smoother Kayak launching area near main entrance would be good. Otherwise a great facility even though long overdue

Great place here. Lots of wildlife. It really feels like you are walking in the bush while you are here, but beware that there are some closed paths and you will need to walk along the borders (main roads) which is not entirely convenientAmazing scenery and wildlife. Great hiking trails. A very pleasant way to spend a morning or afternoon.Great trails and some good canoeing. If going into the water, the eastern launch is much better with a fixed dock and launch point.

Happy Valley Reservoir Reserve
Happy Valley Reservoir Reserve is an area that Happy Valley Reservoir has opened to the public on December 11, 2021. There are newly built parking lots, public toilets and picnic barbecue facilities in its east, south and west. People can walk, bike, Launch Kayak, picnic, fishing (A Fishing Permit is required), etc. in permitted areas.

Walked a 9.8km trail and it was fabulous. Saw lots of kangaroos and other wildlife. Will definitely do it again. Thank you Walking SA.
