I’ve eaten at this establishment many times over the years. I’ve found it to be great value for money, “however”.. I’ve noticed medium to low work place morale among staff. In a recent experience, I was left waiting to be served longer than I should have been. The manager asked a staff member to serve me, the staff member that served me was low energy with very little friendliness. I ordered a small chips and small gravy. I went to coles to get a couple of things hoping my order would be ready when I get back. The shop was not busy at this time. When I arrived back from coles there were 4 customers waiting including myself. As 20mins passed the other orders cleared out and a staff member asked what my number was. She told me the number must have gotten lost. This staff member prepared my small chips and gravy straight away. I’m disappointed to say when I arrived home to discover the chips were scraps from the left over chips that had been sitting around. I couldn’t eat them.If staff here had job satisfaction and better customer service the quality of the product would be better and I would be able to justify the price increase of the product.

The chips are as good as they were 10-15 years ago. The large chips served 5 generously.

Been coming here for years and it used to be the best chicken, chips and gravy. The last 2 times the chips looked and tasted old, chickenand gravy was average. Sad to say this will be our last time coming here.

Affordable food and great serving sizes. Unfortunately, our order had one missing and one incorrect item. The calamari was also undercooked due to some pieces being stuck together and not cooked where they touched and a little cold on the inside.

Used to be an affordable family take out option but not any more. Family chicken meal with large chips is now $39 and teenagers and wife all stated that it was the last time we will buy there. Average food that is now overpriced .

Coolum Charcoal Chicken
On 28 October 2022, I ordered a burger online, added cheese and bacon, and asked for no beetroot. What I got was a dry disgusting burger, no bacon, no cheese, and soaking right through with beetroot. I threw it in the bin. I was not driving back to Coolum while my family ate. I had chips for dinner. Not bothered about a refund, it's only a few dollars. I don't want a credit because I am never eating here again. You need to do better because this is very ordinary.

You NEED to go here!Situated just off the main street of Coolum lies this amazing shop.There is a huge menu to choose from; whole chickens, 1/2, 1/4, tropical packs, tenderloins, fish, prawns, ribs, cold wraps and sandwiches and more!The food all looks utterly amazing and the taste is equal. The chicken was full of flavour and juicy, the chips were fresh and crunchy but the most surprising thing was the gracious size of the meal, it was large enough for two!I've found a new favourite when I'm up this way.

Don't go here if you're looking to get chicken cooked over the coals. Electric Rotisserie doesn't count. Great staff and service, but average fast food pricing. It's doable in a rush or too fill the gap.

If I could give 0 starts I would! Ordered fish and chips and it was disgusting, hard and tasteless, the chips were gross! Used to be an amazing shop but after time has deteriorated badly. Used to be the best shop after school with mates but now with the young staff who are rude and untrained ( the young man on the phone didn’t even say sorry just said ok see ya) it’s not worth your time! Never coming here again.

Ordered a beef works burger, dry and untasty. 2.5/10Chips were heinous, dry and seemingly very old oil used. 2/10Chicken tenders were dry and only tasted of the herbs they used. 2/10Antipesto salad was probably the pick of of the lot, while still pretty average. 5/10Used to love this place, but it seems to get worse and more expensive every time. Won't be coming back unfortunately.
