Ampol Foodary Longwarry (eastbound)

Stop here for Petrol or food such as hungry jacks.Its one of the better stops when travelling east from Melbourne.

Doesn’t look very inviting when you drive in. Then go in store, same feeling, dark. Then after waiting behind someone for ages at coffee machine, to find out it’s not working ! Just walked out. On a weekend (Sunday) when lots of customers, could at least make sure the trays empty and milk full. Not impressed. Stopped at the BP down the road, bright store, friendly staff and 4 minutes in and out.

Just stopped for fuel. Unleaded 2 dollars a litre, so only partly filled.

Good clean shop and friendly staff and well stocked

The place is accessible while coming back to Melbourne, only challenge I found was high prices. A packet of chip is $7.50 in here. Way too expensive in comparison to other petrol station. High coffee, sandwich and food prices. It’s next to hungry jacks . Parking accessible. Have around 8 bays to fill petrol.

Awesome stopping point. Large store big range to cover your needs. I was really hot weather when I stopped by for fuel. They had many frozen Maximus drinks for our 2hr long drive ahead. Also had a great coffee van around the side. Excellent service at both places. I highly recommend.

Ooopppsss.... the toilet can't be used/opened for customers to use at night? who cares about your brand Ampol if the toilet can't be used by customers? I stopped refueling immediately when my partner came out and said the toilet was closed at night on the way home for the new year celebration. It's sad and inconvenient and maybe the M1/freeway management should close the entrance to the fuel pump for its users.

Stopped in for a Hungry Jacks meal. Can I just say the place looks underwhelming inside and out. Toilet facilities dirty. Hawiiaan chicken burger was cold ,bun soggy and the wrapper used looked like it had been reused ie; scrunched up then reused. Chip oil burnt. Coffee though was good. We felt the young staff held their heads high under immense work pressures.We travel often and this particular fuel stop has been undergoing works for at least 2 years.We won't be stopping here again. In fact we don't often write reviews but felt like others, there is a certain expectation on food outlets in Aust and I don't believe this facility meets them.
