Alassio Palm Cove
There are no lifts and we were staying on the third floor. The room is magnificent and cheaper then other accomodation. Food next door good, can hear music from next door incase your sound sensitive. Receptionist unfriendly.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The rooms were amazing, we got two rooms that adjoining style with kitchen and a spa room where the kids and grandma enjoyed most in the evenings, the restaurant downstairs opens up early in the morning for barista style coffees so not far to go for that morning coffee and breakfast was amazing and fast as we had a table of 15 with no complaints. Well done Alassio!

We booked a 2 bedroom six months in advance. A month out from the booking I was advised that the apartment had been sold and we could no longer be accommodated. They offered a 1 bedroom with 2 rollaway beds at the same price as an alternative. Unacceptable and disappointing. It's peak season so very difficult to find anything else in palm cove. A holiday we've been trying to take for 2 years is now tainted.

We like Alassio because of the great location. It is at the end of Williams Esplanade and walkable distance to restaurants and shops. The apartments are comfortable. The place is intimate and quiet although the pool is a bit small. Overall a very nice stay.

We booked 2 x 2 bedroom suites and had problems with both. The hotel management lost 1 booking and the other was for an apartment that had been sold and that group were overcharged from the price quoted on the confirmation email. I also could not believe when we were asked to pay $3 for pool towels when none were supplied in the room. Rooms were not clean and we were unable to comment to wifi. My advice if you book is to check and then re-check to make sure your booking is not lost or overcharged.

Absolutely no care of guests. Failure to rectify serious problems. Lack of facilities eg tea, coffee and mugs but no jug to boil water. Failure to fix noisy toilet. EXTREMELY bad management. Complete indifference to the comfort of guests. The list of bad things goes on and on. These apartments are not cheap and are very substandard. Really spoiled our holiday.

It's very close to the pacific. The Irish pub is next door. The price is ok. But is this 4 Star quality? The rooms are not really clean, the leaves on the balcony are old. The chairs are in a bad condition. The pool is perfect for very young kids, but not for adults. You can hardly swim here because the depth is so low. The meadow next to the pool is also full of leaves. And the leaves are also in the pool. No one cares. It's a pitty because the place, so close to the pacific, is really fantastic.

We had a lovely 3 night stay, the room had everything we needed a beautiful view of the ocean. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. The only part I didn't love was how the adjacent bar/restaurant looked into the pool area. A bit off putting trying to have a swim while people eating their dinner are looking in, I'm sure it wasn't a great view for them either.

Lovely stay5 Stars for Jo the Manager unfortunately no decent TV Neflix etc. For the tariff charges you would expect more.Had to clean the balcony before we were able to sit on it. Maybe providing beach towels would be a good ideaPaul and HelenGold Coast
