Mamas and papas pizza
I had the carbonara, one of my favourite dishes and I will order it everywhere I go. Unfortunately, this carbonara was the worst I have ever had. I dont have one good thing to say about it. Very bland and only a few pieces of bacon mixed with some cream. Hopefully they just had a bad night. I would still like to try a pizza from here but completely turned off their pasta.

This place is top quality. The restaurant is clean and simple. The staff are friendly and accomodating. The pizzas huge with a good amount of topping. Will always come here when I’m back in Gympie. I ordered supreme with anchovies added and got about 1.5 per slice - perfecto. Also got chicken with bacon added and meat lovers. My Dad who is the fussiest person alive, loved the pizzas. Four of us only ate one and a half pizzas.Sorry about the terrible photo. This is the left overs the next day which were just as delicious.

Thought I would try this place again but still terrible. Could barely tell the difference between the Tropical and the Meatlovers, they looked exactly the same. Not enough cheese to hold the topping on. Garlic pizza was nice but had no garlic on it whatsoever.

Mamas and papas pizza
I needed a meal late on a Monday night and didn't want a quick takeaway meal. I phoned M & P's and they hung on later then they normally would for me. It was much appreciated. The meatlovers pizza was great and the service was friendly.

I saw this place as I was walking through town and really couldn't resist the old school Australian pizza joint vibes.Inside wasn't much to write about, but I really enjoyed the beer garden style outdoor dining. They have a great mural painted on the wall, and you can sit and watch the hustle and bustle of Mary Street while you eat.The food was great. I got The Aussie because I'm a big kid and I hadn't had one of those for years. The service was friendly, and the food arrived quickly. You really can't fault it.It wasn't fine dining but that's not what you're looking for at Mama's and Papa's. I really enjoyed the experience.

We stopped in here for some takeaway pizza and pasta whilst on a road trip. Ordered a half and half pizza and some carbonara. Food came out quicker than what they had said which was nice :) reasonable portions. The carbonara had a bit too much pepper on it for my taste but my husband enjoyed it.We got take away but they have a cute outdoor area.

Service was very bad. The lady who was taking the orders kept leaving so you need amazing timing to get her to serve you but the food was delicious. Got capricciosa and carbonara. Carbonara had a lot of garlic in it but it was still good.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mama & Pappa's Pizza Shop in Gympie, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere that made me feel right at home.The menu offered an extensive range of authentic Pizza and Pasta dishes, including my personal favourites - the Pepperoni Pizza and the Bolognese. The toppings were fresh, the sauce was flavorsome, and the crust was perfectly crispy. In addition to the pizza and pasta, the Greek Salad was a refreshing and delicious side dish.Overall, Mama & Pappa's Pizza Shop exceeded my expectations in every way. The food was exceptional, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic Pizza and Pasta experience in Gympie. Five stars all around!
