Happy and professional staff. Kiko my Moodle 13 years old had to meet a new vet after 12 years with same vet but it was seamless. Good easy to understand advice. Very happy with service.

I'm leaving one star for the simple butterfly effect that led to the death of my dog.I'm sure in general this is a wonderful vet that cares for animals greatly.Around April of last year, my dog had been throwing up nightly.I took her to the greencross vet in mount Gravatt, as this was obviously concerning. The Dr did no more than feel around her tummy, and said she had some gastrointestinal upset, and proceeded to sell me $300 worth of gastro friendly dog food, before saying if she was still unwell in a month, to bring her back.A month on the day, we'd noticed Clementines eyes had taken on a yellowish hue. So we rushed her to the emergency vet where she was kept for 5 nights. After a series of tests, an operation and $9000 spent. she was diagnosed with chronic hepatitis.I'm sure, like the rest of you, my dog was the love of my life. There is not a thing that I cherished more than Clementine. So when faced with the choice of taking her to be put down, or continuing her treatment on the off chance she might recover, I chose the latter. She lived for an extra five months, underwent weekly appointments, a plethora of medications, and three blood transfusions. The last of which resulted in a clot going into her brain, leading to her being put to sleep,By the time it was all said and done. I'd spent over $32,000 on her vet bills and medications.Placing myself into currently debilitating debt.I should add at this point that throughout Clementine's entire treatment, whilst somedays she was more lethargic than usual, or didn't have much of an appetite. All of the vets at the specialist clinic constantly commented on their surprise at her happy temperament.Clementine never acted like that of a sick dog.Perhaps if she did, the situation would've been different. But as it stood, I couldn't stand the thought of driving her, happy and barking to the clinic, to be put down forever. The reason I am giving this clinic one star, is because I found out at a later date, that a blood test should've been conducted on that first appointment. And if it had, it would've come back showing that Clementine's liver enzymes were heightened. Her treatment could've begun before it reached the Chronic stage. And she might've lived. She passed in October, and every day I miss her.So please let this be a lesson to all pet owner who come across this review.Firstly, get pet insurance.I didn't.Secondly, request a blood test.

After ringing the RSPCA and them suggesting we go to our nearest vet and drop off the injured juvenile bird we found fighting for his life in a bucket of water. Being winter time we wanted to remove the bird as quick as possible and get it warm and the help it needed as soon as possible. The staff member came out to let us know they are closed (3 minutes prior) and can’t take it. She said ‘what is it’ we showed her the scared animal and she exclaimed ‘yech’ which we were shocked at. Understanding that they had closed but her unwillingness to help was a little confronting.Luckily there was another vet not far up the road we found after a quick google search that were more than happy to take the little guy.
