Dr. Jomana is gentle and spends a lot of time examining you or your children. She cares about all the details and follows up a lot. We appreciate what she does for us and our children.

Dr Kondos is gentle and efficient and is careful to minimise the discomfort that goes with procedures like cervical screening tests and removing skin cancer lesions. With a holistic approach, he monitors the patients ongoing blood tests and other tests like bone scans to provide the best health care advice to keep his patients in optimal health. He is very knowledgeable, respectful, personable and likeable. It is reassuring having him as my doctor.

I've been to this practice a number of times over the past 10 years and normally expect a somewhat transactional visit, but I usually come away feeling like I've been heard and been given sound advice.I've never felt compelled to leave a review until now.I recently made an appointment here as I'd been unwell for several days with an unusual mix of symptoms (for me). I'm generally a very healthy person, so don't go to the doctors often. I was made to stand outside the practice as their isolation room was full (I arrived at my appointment time) and I had flu symptoms. When I started to feel lightheaded I asked if I could sit down somewhere and was told no, I had to stand outside. When the doctor did come to see me I mentioned that the system probably wasn't ideal for people who weren't feeling well and was immediately dismissed. The remaining 3mins of the consult weren't great either - it was the most transactional appointment I've ever had and I was made to feel like I was the biggest time waster. I genuinely felt like the doctor thought I was 'faking it'. This is one of 2 practices in the area I usually call for appointments when I need them, but I won't be calling on this one again.

I’ve been here multiple times and have received adequate doctors support but unfortunately the receptionist don’t make it an enjoyable experience. Incredibly short and unwelcoming, you feel like a burden instantly. Not the type of energy people should be greeted with.

I have nothing but words of praise for Dr Arash Ahmadi who works at this medical centre. A kind, caring and resourceful doctor who has become an absolute asset to this practise. Thank you Dr Arash for your wonderful work.

I was treated by Dr Jamie . Overall very basic 15 mins consult. But was surprised when no one informed me about double charges and not covered fully by private insurance. I had to pay upfront first. Then, 14 days later the accounts from Pathology that this medical centre partnered with emailed me that I need to pay another fee. I had to pay another fee not knowing what was it for as it should have been covered by the insurance as they took the insurance details.I went to Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital emergency department and the private insurance covered me fully with full health checks. I understand if the medical centre probably has different policy about private health insurance, but the value of the service given is just one star. I won't be coming back here again as I feel scammed and at the end I just wasted my time and money. Look, money is not the issue but the incompetence , miscommunication, and poor service are the main issues. Sorry.

Great experience as a first timer in this practice. The staffs and Dr. Leon Kondos were all very friendly and helpful. I especially loved how Dr. Kondos really took his time to explain my conditions with me as well as my treatment options. Really impressed. I highly recommend this clinic.

Dr Arash Ahmadi is the most thorough, invested, dedicated GP I have ever come across - he doesn't miss A THING. My partner and I are thrilled that we have found him. He is an absolute asset to Merthyr Medical Centre.I'll also note the wonderful reception/support staff. I have seen them deal with some truly rude, entitled clients, and I have no idea how they cope at times. They have been nothing but kind, supportive and professional.The clinics fees are clearly outlined in house and online, I have never felt overcharged, and if I had a problem with the cost, I would go elsewhere.

I had an appointment with Dr. Arash Ahmadi today and I couldn’t be happier with his very caring treatment. I have had a history of major health issues in my life but lately have been feeling not right. I do have lymphoma but that is being addressed by the haematology department of the RBH. Dr. Ahmadi has sent me for tests but nothing has been detected to be causing my current issues. Today he talked to me about my health concerns including my mental health and I truly believe my mental health could be the problem. All I know is that I felt a huge relief lifted off me when I went home. He is a good doctor and has an amazing bed side manner and is caring. Thanks again.
