We had Woody from Rosetta plumbing around to service all our gas appliances. He did an excellent job and also finally detected a small gasleak which two other companies couldn't find! Everything, right from the moment we rang to make an appointment was done with skill, expertise and great communication. The plumbers were on site for around 30 minutes for a drain cleaning job. I stupidly did not get an estimate for the job beforehand, as I expected it was a simple fix,and the time on site and lack of equipment necessary proved me correct.I was subsequently charged for 1.75hrs labour and travel, when I live less than 3km from their business.When I queried the invoice, they offered me a verbal discount, but then when I asked for a revised invoice reflecting this they refused, and advised they would be charging late fees. This was on top of a 7 day invoice that arrived in my mailbox the day it was due.I wish I had read these google reviews before I engaged this business. Never again!AVOID!!Also I didn't ask for a posted invoice, and requested email, but you know, never let the truth get in the way of a whiney response.

This company sent a plumber to unblock a drain in my rental property in Lenah Valley. For a 1 hour job it billed me 2 hours. However I would not complain if the drain was not blocked again within 3 weeks!!! I contacted the company but it argued that someone could have dropped something that caused the blockage. But tenants said water was not going down the drain as normal even directly after Rosetta's service. They did not dare to drop toilet paper into toilets! Rosetta said there was no service warranty and it would charge me for a second visit. I certainly would not want its service again! I got a recommendation and turned to GA Davis plumbing in Mornington for help. After experiencing 2 services within 3 weeks for the same drainage job, my conclusion is obvious. Rosetta plumbing is a rip off! Its service is not reliable! It charged me $125 for hiring a draining machine that does not have its own power engine. I would not mind allowing the machine to use power from my property but the machine was certainly not good/powerful enough to unblock the drain!I would advise people to stay away from Rosetta Plumbing. I have since noticed a lot of negative reviews of the company and its responses to the reviews. I strongly believe if the company put more energy behind improving its service rather than giving tons of excuses to respond to negative reviews its reputation would be a lot better.

Wanted to charge us $900 plus dollars to fix a 1 inch poly water pipe on a public holiday. $300 call out fee, $180 per hour travel time which was from Rosetta to our location and then $180 for a return to Rosetta even though they weren’t going to return to Rosetta but had other clients to possibly see on the day. The. $180 per hour while they were here, what an absolute joke and plain theft. If your want to rip clients off blind the become a tradie. $180 per hour is beyond an abuse of privilege to sit in the car. I understand that there is expertise as a plumber but to quote around $900 to fix a 1 inch poly water pipe is beyond belief

Once again we can highly recommend Rosetta Plumbing for the quality of their work, keeping us informed of the HCC approval process, turning up exactly when they said they would, and working with us to meet our requirements. We are very pleased and impressed with the plumbing work and installation of the trough for the washing machine.In particular our thanks to Michael for his perseverence and determination to complete a tricky installation with awkward access. Be careful when dealing with them and giving them your credit card. I had called and explained what service I needed twice, and they give me 2 different quotations and I accept it. Then they asked for my credit card for $500 deposit. However, when they came, they said they only do the brand new system, not old system (they did not tell me at the beginning but I did explain it was my old hot water solar system from my old house).I was charged by more than $250 (for their travel site visit only) and when I came to their office, they didn't give a s***. So please very careful when using their service and giving your credit card details, and especially do not let them earn easy money by cheating customers like that.

I made an appointment for their services, They advised they only quote between 10-3, even though on their website they say they are a 24 hour service.They were totally unwilling to negotiate on a time that worked for the standard working week.I ended up booking an appointment on a day off in two weeks which I had to pay a $150 deposit for.The date and time of the appointment comes around and no one shows up. After 30mins I called them and they had no details of my booking and couldn't get someone to come around at my appointed time or last minute.I asked since they had lost my booking if they could come at a time outside of my work hours at 4pm any day of the week. They refused. Then they couldn't refund my deposit back to me that day because they didn't have anyone around with authority" and they can only do it Monday. SO I have no plumber after waiting two weeks

So disappointed for many reasons, but 5 are listed below:1. I wish I read some of these reviews before my husband used Rosetta Plumbing to clear our drain2. This is a big reminder to everyone to ALWAYS GET A QUOTE, because they charge a lot more than what you would expect for a simple job3. I am not sure when tradies in general started charging for travelling or charging us for putting tools into their trucks BEFORE they even leave their depots? I am certain they never used to? It makes a job where they were only at our home for 30min cost $400. Outrageous.4. How can people on an aged pension, low wage, or single parents etc afford plumbers? It is like they have become a luxury service. Absolutely ridiculous in my opinion.5. We are renovating our bathroom soon and we will NOT be using Rosetta Plumbing. If they charge $400+ for clearing ONE drain I would hate to think what they charge for a renovation...

Has Rosetta plumbing started a new car racing division or is it a new marketing strategy? Around 6.50 this morning (16/3/23) on the Brooker highway one of their vehicles proudly displaying their logo raced past me on the left and proceeded to change lane multiple times trying to get ahead of the cars in front. If part of a new car racing division may I suggest it be left for the race track. If however it is a new marketing strategy then it is fantastic .... it most certainly got my attention, possibly not for the right reasons. Their driving skills make you wonder what their plumbing skills are like .... plenty of other companies to choose from.
