We have an annual pass and come here often. It's lovely, the kids love it, there is a kiosk that is great for breaking or a snack. The staff are always friendly.Definitely recommend an annual pass if you are local, or a visit for around $5 a car if you are a visitor to this region

Scenic and well-kept. My daughter's now nearly 24, but this was one of her absolute favourite childhood places to walk on the beach, wave to the freight train drivers crossing the bridge, run in and out of the creek or sea with our dogs (now both sadly gone), and get burgers and chips from the kiosk. I hired a bbq shelter for one of her birthday parties too. Well worth the small parking fee.

It's just a really nice easy place for swimming, paddle boarding etc. Good that they have tap to pay on the every gate now.

A place perfect for a full day of family fun. The reserve has something for everyone - adults, kids and teens. Safe waters, plenty of parking, a cafe, kayak and surf board hiring and a railway bridge. Water is quite safe for young kids and entry of shade. Reserve also has a few BBQ areas and toilets onsite.

One of the most beautiful areas on the Coffs coast! It will cost you $6 to park down the bottom near the beach or you can park for free at Boambee headland and walk down.

This is a very nice area for a full day with picnic, kayaking, paddle boarding and a safe swim for kids. Dogs allowed on leash, but if you cross over the bridge you can leave them off leash and in the water. There is a kiosk open until 4pm, for your basics. There is also a table tennis set and a playground, BBQ, showers and very clean toilets. From there you can take the coastal walk for very gorgeous views. We visited on a partly cloudy day and it wasn’t crowded at all. I guess it could get much busier in warmer weather.

Great spot, bring the family and a picnic lunch. Plenty of parking (there is a $6 entrance fee), also has a kiosk, office and very clean toilets. You can also hire kayaks and paddleboards.

It an excellent place to bring the family for the day. Fantastic facilities. They have a kiosk that you can order food or bring your own food to cook on the free BBQs. Play park for the kids and also a good safe to swim in the water.
