Have had my mooring serviced by Lake Mac Moorings for a few years now, and every year the quoted price seems to blow out by roughly $200. Last year they charged me an extra $85 for a new mooring buoy that they had damaged the year before, they also tied off their barge on the bow rail near the navigation lights and broke the mounts on one side. This year charged an extra $65 for mooring rope they did not secure properly after their last service. Also, the medium wear chains they supply are lucky to last 12 months so are always a good money earner for them I guess. I Will be looking elsewhere for my mooring inspection next year for sure. I'm not normally one to complain but those kinds of things just aren't right, and well, you did ask for an honest review.
