heartbreakers tattoo

Started a tattoo with Sarah-Kate in June and am still waiting to complete it nearly 6 months later. Sent 8 emails over that time with 0 reply in any way. Finally got a hold of not Sarah but someone else from the studio on their insta page. Was told I am on a waiting list though no such thing was ever conveyed to me. Was talked down to as I had to tap out in our first session and book in for another where I paid in full. I am now being told that even though the tattoo is incomplete they will not return any of my money. I find this so incredibly disrespectful to treat your clients this way and hold onto their money without any communication as to when or even if you will be booked in to finish. If my emails were obviously read why were they not simply replied to to avoid this? I no longer feel comfortable going back to Sarah to complete this tattoo or anyone else in her studio after the way they have decided to not deal with this issue. A simple partial refund for incomplete work is not impossible as the studio claims and would be the most ethical way to solve this issue.

I’ve been seeing Sarah for literally the better part of 10 years and there’s a reason!Her work is AMAZING! Super bright, colourful and full of retro magic.Sometimes there can be a bit of a wait to get in, but for someone with the scale of following Sarah has I think we can expect this. And let me assure you SHES WORTH THE WAIT.If you’re after a tattoo that you’ll want to constantly admire - she’s ya girl!If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would!!!

Started a tattoo with Sarah K. I have paid the full amount asked for the flash piece and have bank deposits to prove this.I had to rebook a second session for it to be finished, she then emailed me cancelling due to health. I was understanding and tried to rebook, but she was very difficult to get any reply from. I eventually sent an e-mail asking directly if she was actually going to commit to finishing the piece and if not I was going to go elsewhere. She then responded saying she would finish it but she would email me at the starter 2023 to rebook. I never received that email. I see another artist that works at the studio who is fantastic but whilst there for that session Sarah recognised me and rebooked me into have the piece finished. I then never received any confirmation email or text about the appointment and then she put a post on Instagram saying she had to cancel all her appointments again. I've never been contacted to finish this off. She is really poor at communication and I know for a fact I'm not the only one who's experienced this. My auntie booked in a fullback piece with this lady and she constantly screwed her around. My auntie was fortunate enough to get her deposit back but still absolutely waste of people's time, money and body space. I would not recommend her as an artist, there are so many talented and reliable ones around.I'm over chasing someone that clearly doesn't care about their clients or reputation.
