The lavender farm is famous because it is big and have plenty of places where you can take pictures without disruption from other visitors. Visited today (beginning of January) and it was wonderful will most of the fields bloomed with vivid colors. In place ticket is $20 per person, which is a fair price to spend the day taking pictures here. 45 minutes of driving from Launceston.

The farm is less than an hour drive from Launceston. They have a ticketing booth, before the gate entrance and the lady (Megan) who worked there is friendly and professional in her job. She also briefed us about the place. They have wide parking area but be mindful of your step when you get out of your car because the area is sloped down to the entrance.Their shop is nice with many lavender by-products you can buy. We tried their lavender ice cream and we loved it. I also bought a fridge magnet as a souvenir. We were able to have a taste of their lavender tea and if you're a tea lover, you would've love it more than I did.The soil of the field is red and dusty so expect your shoes to be dirty. So, an outdoor hiking shoes is highly recommend. A hat to cover your head from the scorching summer sun is also a plus. Also, if you're scared of bees, don't wander too far because they have few beehives in the farm, but foraging bees are generally harmless and will almost never sting unless hurt.If you want to go in depth, a guided tour for a fee of the place is a plus, and you'll be able to see other things like their lavender distillery, etc of which a normal visitor would not experience.By the way, we washed our shoes that we wear when we got home. The place is highly recommended.

Although entry is little pricy $20 per adult, but it’s worth money spending for. If you visit right time of the year with right weather then this place has lot to offer. I love the live country music along with scenic view - it makes the entire experience priceless!

This is a nice place to visit, but you have to get a ticket now, and it will cost you $20 if you're an adult. It is very difficult to find lavender ice cream, but living music is very pleasant. If you dress in white, you will get photographs that are completely perfect.

We came in April. The lavender farm wasn’t in bloom. We did try the lavender ice cream, it tasted like vanilla. The gift shop expensive, the cafe staff were very friendly as well. There is plenty of parking on site.

We arrived early as we had a long drive, so we decided to relax, have a coffee and some cake and enjoy the view. Even know the lavender was not blooming and in season, it was beautiful to see anyway.

The lavender ice cream was so yummy and purple, not too sweet and relaxing. they also have lavender scones, and lavender ice cream with strawberry, blueberry, choc flavored if you don't want plain lavender flavour etc. I wish lavender was in season when we visited, however we had just missed out on the blooming season which isn't until Dec to Feb... It was still beautiful to see all the lavender products available such as bear, lavender satchels, soap, sanitizers, hand cream tea, cups, mugs, shortbread jam, jacket, scarves, heat pack etc. If you love lavender definitely check out their lavender product range, it's one of the oldest lavender farms in Australia dating back at least 100 years ago.

AMAZING ! STUNNING !! Everything I was hoping it would be !! We recently visited Bridestowe Lavender Farm with my parents and teenage kids, we all absolutely loved it. The grounds are immaculate, the flowers breathtakingly beautiful and the lavender ice cream is to die for. We deliberately planned our trip to Tasmania (not our first) to coincide with the lavender flowing season. We watched the website flower report to see when the flowers were in full bloom and it timed perfectly for us. We bought our tickets online beforehand. It was easy to purchase and enter on the day. I would highly recommend visiting Bridestowe, it was rather warm so mornings are beautiful, take a break and sit under a old tree and enjoy the lavender scented air and relaxing nature of the farm. Kids and adults of all ages will enjoy their visit !!
