Verandah House Country Estate

This place is incredible, it is honestly a very special place to be. The comfort and service is next level, breakfast was beyond amazing and the hot tub was an incredible way to start and finish the days. Five stars simply is not enough to describe the little piece of paradise.

We just had the best few days at VH Country Estate and will be back. The rooms are flawlessly fitted out and our hosts, Laurie and Judy are the nicest people you'll meet. Tamborine Mountain has always been one of our favourite places and this property is a must for visitors. Anne & Graeme.

Spectacular! Lovely accommodation, warm and welcoming! Owners were amazing and so helpful organising a romantic weekend away for my partners birthday. They helped plan a couples massage along with romantic picnic. We had an incredible time! You will not be disappointed with this Estate! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND

This is the most magnificent place to stay. 5 stars is not enough. Judy and Lawrence have created a beautiful sanctuary. Everything is stunning and Judy and Lawrence are so welcoming. This has to be one of the best places to stay in Queensland! From the moment you book, you can rest assured everything will be taken care of. Judy and Lawry are two of the nicest people you will meet (the owners of the beautiful Verandah Country Estate) and they do everything possible to ensure you have an amazing stay. Your stay begins by driving through lovely country style gates accompanied by stunning gardens and you can see the Verandah house and front of some of the suites. From here you are greeted and shown to your suite. Judy and Lawrence have done an exceptional job designing these beautiful rooms, where you can feel relaxed and fresh. Breakfasts are something from heaven (see photos online) and you’ll find it hard to go back to cereal! The views are unobstructed and they have a hot tub to sit in and watch the sunset/sunrise. There is a communal fire pit (extra to the ones in the rooms) which you can use and toast marshmallows (included in the kitchen). The gardens are immaculate, and you’ll feel completely away from everything if you stay here. We can’t recommend Verandah country estate enough, and we will return + recommend it and Judy/Lawrence to all of our friends. All the extra personal touches you could ever want from a relaxing stay will be met here, you feel as though you’re part of their family as they’re always there to help, but never in the way and you’ll have complete privacy. Cancel that boring standard accomodation you’ve booked and try Verandah Country Estates, promise you won’t regret it!

WOW – What a wonderfully relaxing stay! From the moment we drove down the driveway we felt like we were a million miles away from Brisbane yet it was only an hours drive.The rooms are of high quality and elegantly decorated and the beds feel like you’re floating on a cloud – we had the best nights sleep in a very long time!The outlook from the rooms is amazing. We spent the afternoon sitting in the hot tub gazing out over the expansive mountain ranges and ocean which made us feel instantly relaxed.Laurence and Judy were excellent hosts and we’re very much looking forward to returning again. Highly recommended!

We had an absolutely unbelievable stay here. The rooms were immaculate and beautifully presented without a thought spared. The toiletries were fantastic; as well as the drinks and snacks provided. The kitchen area in the room was well kitted out with crockery and cutlery. A special shout out to the extra fluffy robes which we made our way down to the sauna in. Highlight was a sunset dip in the hot tub which offers views of both the mountains and down to the Gold Coast. Also enjoyed toasting some marshmallows over the fire in the evening.Breakfast was absolutely delicious and a real surprise. They couldn't have been any more helpful, and I really can't find a single fault with anything. A high, high recommendation.

Spent the most amazing weekend at Verandah House Country Estate.Every aspect of our stay was incredible.The long lunch set under the beautiful blue sky was a perfect spot to celebrate a special birthday with family and friends.Lawrence and Judy are the ultimate hosts, they have thought of everything, and we can't wait to come back and experience this slice of paradise again!

We had an awesome 2 night mid week stay at Verandah House. It was great to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the ambience and breathtaking views of Mt. Tamborine.We were greeted on arrival by Judy and Laurence who are both very caring and delightful hosts. Verandah House has sweeping lawns and beautiful gardens. It is certainly a place where you can switch off and recharge. The guests have the use of a sparkling pool and a hot tub which overlooks magnificent scenery. Our accommodation was superbly decorated by the multi talented Judy.Thank you Laurence and Judy for a truly wonderful stay and John and I are looking forward to our next visit.

The owners, Lawrence and Judy made us feel welcome from the word go. They are friendly, helpful and nothing is too much to ask.Verandah House has a homely feel to it and the well planned gardens, rooms and facilities are absolutely stunningly beautiful.It takes time to take in all the elegant finer detail and one gets to appreciate Judy’s interior designing.Breakfast was delicious and a fantastic spread. The casual dining contributed to us relaxing even more.I can’t wait to go back there again!
