Frankly speaking, I walked pass this restaurant and noticed nice deco restaurant but it looks too modern to me to serve thai food but I gave it a try anyway. I asked the staff to recommend me the most famous menu, they recommened Savoey Beef Kao Soi (their signature dish) and Savoey chicken wings (their signatue appetizer). I asked the bartender if she can do Larb (spicy minced meat salad) cocktail or not, she said she can do it specially for me as it is not in a menu. Turns out, every menus were over my expectation as the modern deco and special request outside menu, Beef Kao Soi tasted real Thai and beef is really melted in my mounth, so soft and tender. Larb cocktail is spicy and sour as it should be like Thai Larb. Will come back to try another menus.

Really hands down the best Thai in Potts Point / Darlinghurst area. The menu is inventive- not your average around the corner cheap and cheerful Thai. However really authentic and tasty. Excellent food quality with nice deco and vibe. And oh dear I forget, nice people with down to earth service. Will always come back.

Good local authentic Thai food, great servicing portion! We had the fish, prawn with miang leave and eggplant cook with mince pork, they are good! Cocktails could be better.

Loved this restaurant! Authentic, delicious Thai food with a cute intimate interior. We got a lot of starters including spring rolls, the fish cake stack, salt and pepper squid, the crispy eggplant was a highlight for me as well as the crispy pork belly red curry. Will definitely return!

Quiet on a wet sunday night in Sydney. Parking is limited but much better on Victoria Rd than Darlinghurst Rd.The restaurant is tastefully decorated and looks modern and clean. The food was stunning, we would definitely come back again:Peking duck pancakes 3/5 - just ok, I had higher hopes for this onePrawn betel leaf 5/5 - nice prawns and salad, we added a little extra chilli for a bit of a kickSalt and pepper calamari 5/5 - really nice crumb and not overcooked. The sauce was a little sweet, but it workedTofu and veg chilli jam 5/5 - we agreed this is the best we had in a long timeBarramundi (pla nung manow) 5/5 - not a large serving but fish was cooked perfectly and you could taste all of its delicate flavoursSavoey kao soi 5/5 - generous on the beef rib, mix all up and enjoy, this was probably my favourite dish. The pickled veg and various toppings balanced this dish expertly.Including 2 rice, the 3 entrees and 3 mains were just the right size. Desserts look good, but we were pretty full.Thanks for hosting us.

I always get takeaway from this place as it’s super tasty. This time we sat down at the bar counter and dined in - cute vibes in the restaurant. Food is always full of flavour and spectacular. I always try to order a new dish each time and have never been disappointed. Cheap and cheerful, it’s a win for me - 5 stars ⭐️

We were delighted with the food and atmosphere of the restaurant. I had the best spring rolls in my life, I did not even expect that such a simple and well-known dish could blow my mind. You should definitely try this place, it's something you've never tried before. Also, I recommend you to try their signature cocktails! It’s very distinct and amazing!

Savoey is a hidden gem in the multitude of Thai restaurants in Sydney. Chic, stylish, intimate. The vibes are all right at Savoey. Creative, delicious Thai dishes that are authentic with a twist. You have to travel to Bangkok to find something of this standard. The signature cocktails are a must try, especially the Thai Tropical with a depth of flavor that’s unexpected (pandan). The Spicy sips has a real chili kick in a citrus, fruity cocktail.Try the Savoey Kao Soi for a texture (soft and crispy noodles) and flavor (sweet, savory, sour and spicy) hit. Make sure there’s a bit of pickled cabbage with each spoonful of curry and noodles. The milk-grilled pork stick is tender melt in mouth. Salt and pepper squid perfectly cooked with a crunchy salty, peppery, spicy outside and a oh-so-tender fresh squid inside.The prawn wild betel leaf wrap is a flavor bomb ready to explode in your mouth!Great background music to chill with the food and drinks.Staff and owner ultra friendly.Multiple visits required to really discover the full menu and what other surprises you will discover.Simply awesome!

This restaurant has the best Thai food outside of Thailand! We had khao soi and pad kra pao which are my 2 favourite dishes and it was like being back in Thailand. Recommend this place to everyone!
