I got uber eats for from Hans cafe midland on Sunday 24th October. for days ive been waiting for uber eats to get back to me on how to complain but no answer. i have been having Japanese Chicken Rice from Hans Cafe for over 8 years. This is only the second time i have purchase from the Midland restaurant as working nearby now. I was disgusted and how rushed my meal looked. The sauce was basically water and I know what the sauce is supposed to be. Its as if they run out of sauce so they diluted with water. very unhappy. i waited 1 hour 20 mins for my meal to be delivered and i would of been happy if the food quality was good but it was the worst ive ever seen of having this dish for years. ill stick to morley resturant.

I initially was going to give 3 stars possibly less while I was waiting for my two dishes. I wasn't impressed with having to wait about half an hour for a fried rice and sweet and sour pork while it seemed about a dozen people including delivery drivers came through and all got meals and I didn't see anyone being served any meals in the restaurant. It seems to me like takeaway takes precedence over dine in customers because the restaurant owner is more worried about their Uber Eats or MenuLog rating. Another annoying thing is these delivery drivers takeover the restaurant, dump their dirty bags in the middle of the floor and pull up a seat at a table and browse their phone while waiting for the food. As a dine in customer I felt like I'm unimportant. However I was very pleased with the quality of the meal in particular the sweet and sour pork. It is definitely the best in Midland in my opinion. I later spoke to the owner and she was a pleasant and respectful lady who took in my feedback which I appreciated and hence I have given 4 stars but I suggested to her to create a seperate area with a petition on the side with chairs for takeaway customers and delivery drivers. They should be as out of sight as possible from sit down diners and they shouldn't be standing in the middle of the restaurant and pulling up chairs from a table and plonking their bags in the middle of the floor. It is very disrespectful.

The waiter took a Doordash* order between my order and my friends and as such there was 15 minutes between their meals and mine. Overall my meal took 40 minutes between ordering and receiving. This left me little time to enjoy my meal before our movie. They did give me a free to go containerEdit: In reply to the owner's response.I arrived at your store at 6:50, ordered and paid by 6:55 and received my meal at 7:30. Both my friends received their meals before 7:15.Between their meals coming out and mine I saw two Doordash orders leave the kitchen. Seeing as we were dining as a group, I would have expected my order to have been prepared directly after my friends instead of after the Doordash orders.Food was nice, but I would have preferred eating it hot rather than reheated after the movie.

look when I walked in.. I wasn't expecting much.... it looks so drab, dated and cheap I was like eh this is going to be not great.. but my cousin said no it's good.. and wow our food was so lovely and tasty! well done to the chef but tell the owners to invest in the decor and maybe people will come there for date night.! loved the gold cutlery though it was cute x

At first I wasn't sure about this place, but I ended up enjoying it.The food was delicious (I had Pork Dumplings, Nasi Goreng & a latte). I especially enjoyed the coffee, much better than the instant coffee that I drink at home.I very much recommend trying the dumplings.

Not the most authentic Asian restaurant around, but their pepper squid is top notch and pretty consistent when we do get it. Probably the only thing we like :)

Lovely eatery on the first floor of Midland Gate. It has both indoor and outdoor seating. The food is great and has sufficient serving sizes per order. The staff is really hospitable and nice. I look forward to be a regular here :) thank you for the lunch today.
