ACT Pathology Gungahlin

I was there at 4.10 pm today for blood test refer by my GP. One staff(nepali) was in phon for a patient in pathology. She was talk around half an hour and i was stand in que with a gentleman . When she finished phon call she called that gentleman and tell me time is finish for today because it is 4.30. i was tell her that i am in at 4.10 and stand in que from half an hour but she was very rude and said no you need to go and come back next day. Very bad experience today.

Regular here for many years now. Super efficient and considerate staff, much quicker than other centres in the area, plenty of seating, enough parking (depending on the time of day). Highly recommended.

You may not have a choice when it comes to using their services, but you can choose to be vigilant at the appalling queuing system they use here.Arrived shortly after the centre opened at 7:30 am and took a physical number as directed. Heeded ample signage around the waiting area commanding patients to be respectful and not query the order in which patients are seen (there is a system, they assure you; don't you dare question it).Person who arrived after me took the number following mine and was immediately called to reception to register their paperwork. It became clear my number was skipped over and was never going to be called - so I broke their commandment and queried reception on why the preceding number was not called.The receptionist, Gian, had the gall to claim she called my number THREE times. Sad to say, she was caught in an outright lie and couldn't muster the maturity or insight to acknowledge (an understandable) human error. I know because I held off from going to the bathroom so I wouldn't miss my number being called!After another wait, in which the queue-jumper was seen before me, the aptly named 'Yerlady' took my blood. Absolute stinking attitude when I corrected her on the spelling of my street name (which she had to verify prior to taking the sample).Like others have said, be vigilant when using these services. You're not being pushy by querying them when your number is skipped over, and you're sure as hell entitled to respectful treatment as much as they demand the same of you.

I have blood tests on a regular basis, every three months. It is very busy, be prepared to wait an hour. They need more staff. I sing the staffs praises, they work very hard, always friendly and professional.

Nice Nurses taking bloods on a busy Monday morning. A bit of a wait but better professional service than most other pathologies around the Canberra region

Absolutely fantastic service. All the staff are so kind and treat you with dignity and respect! I had such a great experience getting my blood test done here also! I’ve forgotten her name but the lovely lady who took my bloods was particularly amazing. If you’ve not had great experiences getting blood tests in the past, I would highly recommend coming here!

Thanks so much! I had my blood test here this morning. The lady at the reception was nice and helpful. The nurse who did my blood test was soooo good! I had bad experience with other pathologies where I was told it was difficult to get blood from me because it was so deep that they had to stab me a couple of times… but at ACT Pathology, the nurse was amazing! She was able to get my blood so easily and it was not very painful either! I don’t normally write reviews. But this was definitely a five star experience!!

Skipped my number and had me and my 6 year old daughter waiting much longer than we should've. After going up and telling them that they had skipped my number, the was no apology and I wasn't pushed forward in the queue either. I normally cube here all the time, the pathologists that actually take the blood are really nice.

Went in the a few days ago or so to get some tests done early in the morning first thing when they opened (7.30) to avoid the rush I was number 4 in line, they had noticed that I was also pregnant so I was in and out fast.I was only in there for roughly 10 mins or less.The service these guys give are always 100% awesome.By far the best pathology I've been too....thanks guys.
