About the Business
Wendy's Milk Bar – Make Your Day. | In 1979, Geoff Davis and Phil Rogers opened the doors to their first treat business in a South Australian shopping centre. Word soon spread about the tiny store selling delicious ice cream sundaes and treats and, by lunchtime on the opening day, the centre's main power had blown as the store’s machinery struggled to keep up with customer demand.

So on Saturday there was 2 people working, I ordered doughnuts. It was cooked fresh and we got a free one for the wait. The wait was not so bad but the customer service was so friendly and welcoming. The young man serving and cooking doughnuts was the best customer service we received in the whole centre that day.

The ice cream there is nice and really cute. I ordered the rainbow icecream and it was very tasty! However i found it a bit overpriced. Specially the hot dogs, all the hot dogs have really nothing too special and that is not reflected in the price. The people working there are pretty sweet and friendly.

Have such nostalgia for Wendy's hotdogs from my childhood, after returning from living overseas this week, had to grab one. Unfortunately, it's nothing like they use to be. Bun was open cut and stale and barely warm, hot dog was like hard rubber and barely warm as well. I guess there's a reason you don't see many Wendy's around anymoreIn response to the owner, I ordered the original dog with cheese, like I've always ordered from Wendy's and I've never received a cut bun. No other toppings were added. If that bun had been delivered today as you claim, it had been sat out for a few hours and dried out.

They have absolutely amazing treats and food here. The best milkshakes and hotdogs anywhere and that's just the beginning. You absolutely must stop in here (it's inside the shopping centre) and treat yourself. There are few of any other Wendy's left and this one showcases how awesome it used to be when we had them everywhere. The staff are friendly, everything was clean and tidy.

I must say I am addicted to hot dogs and cinnamon donuts. I spend alot of time travelling shopping centre's and this week at Forest lake shopping centre's the Wendy's was outstanding. Possibly the best hot dog I've ever had and the donuts were amazing. After getting getting to the car I had to return for another 6. A big well done to the young girl who served me, very friendly, helpful and great product knowledge. Well done to the owners of this store very clean presentable and food is top notch. So from a very happy consumer I say thank you 5 stars all the way.

I went to this shop today on queue to buy some drink and when it is my turn, the staff named Jason told me “sorry where closed”. I am so dissappointed that I waited for the customer infront of me knowing they already saw me in line to counter. They should atleast entertain a last customer even if it is already 5:34pm. A bit rude and insult to us.

Always a great experience getting donuts for my kids and coffee for me. The girls working here are very friendly and efficient. Those donuts are bliss... especially in a cold winter day with a cup of coffee.

Wendy’s Milk bar
I haven’t seen a Wendy’s since about 2008 as most of them disappeared. I was surprised and happy to find one here and tried the mega dog. When I took the hotdog out of the wrapper it looked messy and much worse than in the menu photo but surprisingly tasted good and the service was friendly. Nice to see Wendy’s is still around, all the best.
