Brumby's Wavell Heights

Food is great. However I witnessed an unfortunate event.I turned up to purchase one pizza roll thing. A brunette girl advised me that the table is 2 for $10.00. I thought stuff it, I want to spoil the family with donuts and cinnamon scrolls- $10.00 you can’t go wrong. Any who, she went to go put it through the till and one of the blonde girls helped her with it and confirmed it was 2 for $10 and advised me that the brunette girl is new and still learning. The brunette girl young and had wonderful customer service skills and was the sweetest thing to speak to. She was young and clearly still learning the ropes.Once the blonde girl left (assuming she finished her shift), this older man with scruffy facial hair came out and said “no no your charging wrong, change the price” and then went to charge me more. I said “nah I won’t get it, I was only purchasing because of sale”.He said “oh well you have it love” clearly upset with me and the brunette girl. Made me feel so uncomfortable. Then said to the girl so rudely “you just cost me $20.00” and walked off. This poor girl was advised by another staff member about the sale. It wasn’t her fault at all. I stood there mortified and felt so sorry for the way this girl was treated. This guy was not nice at all and should not treat his staff with such rude attitude and take into consideration that the girl was learning.If anything, she made you money and the only reason why I gave it 2 stars is because she was a delight to be served by.I advise the girl to quit her job as nobody should be treated with that sort of rude attitude.

This place is amazing, great coffee, bread, pies and sweets. We are so lucky to have such a good bakery in the area with amazing prices.The customer service is unbeatable too! Would definitely recommend to all family and friends.

Amazing bakery, kids love going there. Would be great if they had some keto bread as that stuff is hard to find! Keep it up

Nothing except great customer service and praise to the manager. The food was exceptional and the Boss is very friendly and welcoming, My girlfriend also works with Rowan (boss) and she has said nothing but positives about him and she is correct. He is kind and caring to the point where he gave my girlfriend extras shift to pay off some surgery she needed. I have nothing but respect for this Brumby's and also to Rowan.

Use to work here and sad I had to leave. The owner is great. He spends countless hours before I got in and after I left. Don't know a day where he wasn't working. Thank you for everything. Now I'm just a happy customer

Seriously the best carrot cake I’ve ever eaten. I buy the whole round one for only $9. Much better value that the individual slices at approx $4.50. The cake is so moist, with the right amounts of fruit, carrot and spice ratios. The creamy frosting and whole walnuts topi if off nicely!. And let’s talk about the spinach feta pullapart. Absolutely amazing! Large chunks of feta and real decent amounts of spinach leaves baked into the softest bread. Only $6.50 each. I actually travel from Ipswich to go to this bakery! You won’t be disappointed

Experienced the best customer service today. Pulled up just as they were shutting the doors and the lady (owner?) was so welcoming with a big friendly hello and warm hearted chat that made my day. She would have been at the end of her shift but really cared about her customers and seemed to really enjoy what she was doing. Everything I've bought here is so fresh and yummy. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

Rowan is an excellent baker, he made a special order for me of Sunflower and honey loaf, I was so grateful as it was purchased as part of a gift for someone. Cannot thank them enough for going the extra mile. The staff are friendly and the product is made with the highest care. Great work to the team at Brumby’s Shaw Rd

The owner is a wonderful, hard working guy and is always so helpful, and his team is lovely. We had a small issue once which was outside of the owners control and he gave us our next order for free to apologise for the inconvenience. It’s our local bakery and we’re there 1-2 times a week. My favs are the almond croissants, hedgehog slices and the vanilla slices - yum!

Got some delicious fresh cinnamon scrolls at Brumbys and a couple of sausage rolls. Service was great.
