My aunty took us out for the day from Launceston specifically to go to this shop - she had looked up online to make sure it was open, and we had a day out all planned.When we arrived, to our disappointment it was closed. We tried ringing the business and no one answered. The lady in a homewares store across the road told us that she had just felt like a day off today and wouldn’t be opening!This way of running a business is unprofessional. To the owner: at least if you feel like a day off, be respectful and update your opening hours in google to prevent this from happening again. We were all very disappointed.

We thought that the lady working here may have just been having a bad day, given her grumpy and unfriendly demeanor, but reading the comments on here, it seems as though this may be how she greets most people. Which was sad as I am a new local and this is my first time visiting this business.

One of the most gorgeous stores and outdoor spaces in Australia and the owner has an extraordinary knowledge and passion for design - one of my favourite places to visit.

The owner was extremely rude and told my young daughter off for taking a photo. Happy to abide by the rules…but when the sign out the front is the size of a pea it is hard. Owner needs to focus on fixing her attitude, customer service and signage rather than having a go at people. We will never return and wouldn’t recommend going there.

We’ve been here before, remembered the owner (I assume) was rude to us but couldn’t remember what happened.Here was are again, maybe just one of those things so let’s go in again. Try not to miss the ‘no dogs, no photos’ sign on the gate about the size of a matchbox. Ah that was it; last time I was told off for taking a photo of something we were interested in but like lots of people, would want to think about it and remind ourselves what it looked like when we got home.As we perused (nice enough stuff, different from usual garden bits, quite interested in a large table and a bookshelf) we made our way into the shed at the back where the owner was holed up. A couple were walking out and we’d heard them welcomed. Not us. My daughter made the mistake of picking up a bell and was admonished. No prices on stuff outside, no attempt to welcome anyone, ciao, bye, and then laugh at the Google reviews in the car.We’ve been successful retailers in Sydney so I think I can say with some authority, if you no longer enjoy the company of customers, go online or sell up.

The shop itself was really good, it was the woman working in the shop out the back that ruined our experience. She was one of the rudest people I’ve ever come across. Why work in customer service, if you’d rather not service customers?

Beautiful goods, extortionate prices, execrable customer service - given the abundance of other feedback that's been provided here, I'm surprised they haven't bothered to take it on board.

Travelled from Hobart, specifically to visit and purchase an item to find the place once again closed without notice, even though opening hours state that they are open on a Saturday. This is the second time I have had this happen, ends up being a two hour wasted drive, not good for tourists, gives Tassie a bad name, very unprofessional way to run a business
