Bit cold weather but as always the roads down to the campsites are well maintained along with the pathways too. Not very busy this time of year and still gorgeous even though there wasn't too much Sun and warmth. Tonnes of local bird wildlife that you'll find even sitting at the campsite and plenty you'll see on walks. Always lovely to stay in this area and we always have a fantastic time.

Wonderful free campground with lots of spots to camp. But on a Friday afternoon it was shocking to see the number of people who had turned up to camp. Was gutted sometimes as people tried to pitch tent very next to yours without respecting the privacy. But leaving that aside, it's a good place to spend time. Drop toilets are ok too.

Really nice spacious campground with tall Sequoia trees providing good shelter. On one side the camp backs onto private property - where it seems some people feel free to dump their rubbish. On the other is the Gellibrand river, which was flowing steadily with end of winter waters when we stayed. Many of the open areas were unsuitable for tents in September as they were flooded out. Some people had pulled out the posts around the camping areas and driven their cars/trucks into the flat areas and turned them into boggy pits. The Sequoia trees provide great shelter from the wind, rain, and Sun etc and really make the park. They gave us good shelter from the drizzle and light rain, but didn't stop the heavy rain from reaching our tent.Toilets are clean drop toilets and don't smell to bad. They're consistent with the style at other camping grounds. This camp allows pet owners to bring their dogs, so expect all that goes with it; dog poo, barking & missing food from tables etc. While we were there one of the dogs was chasing the local Kangaroos in the park. The walk to Stevensons Falls begins at the rear of the camp, but was closed when we went due to a landslide. Access to the falls can also be made by car at the day visitor area. There were a bunch of wanna be hippies bathing nude in the river when we went to visit.

Pretty busy campground, can see why people come! It's beautiful and thankfully enough space + fire pits for everyone. Would be nice if other campers were more respectful of their volume but other than that we loved camping here. Dog friendly, free, toilets and a pleasant walk to the amazing waterfall

The last 5 years I’ve been coming to this waterfall at least 4 times a year. There’s a campsite not that far of a drive from the waterfall and it’s beautiful place there too! But back to the waterfall, although the sign at the beginning of the trail says 1hr (I think), it’ll only take you a good 5-10 minutes (depending on how fast you walk). Once you reach the waterfall I highly recommend getting as close as you can to it, because it’s spectacular being up close and seeing it in all its beauty. Also if you’re there during summer take a dip, there’s only fish and yabbies in there, but they won’t come near you.

A fantastic spot! Have visited a few times, not in winter though. Can get busy so best to go during the week to secure a spot, have witnessed many cars drive through and leave due to not available sites. We did the short walk to the falls and did a little rock climbing to get nice and close to the waterfall, it was magical and something we won't forget for a long time. Has fire pits and drop toilets.

Beautiful free camp only 45 minutes away from Apollo bay. It is a 4.3km walk to Stevenson’s falls. The area can get muddy in wet conditions. The track in is oh Kay quit narrow and steep

Stevenson's Falls campground was well maintained and a great spot for a getaway. It has designated camp spots with designated car parks. The toilets are drop toilets, however, they were very clean. It is one of the few vicpark camp grounds on the Great Ocean road where it is first in best dressed and you do not need to reserve a spot. The flip side to this means that on public holiday weekends, it can get very busy and likely not to get a spot if you do not go early. It also means you have to line up for the toilet etc. Stevenson's Falls is a short walk from the campgrounds and is excellent to swim in on a hot day. Other tourist destination like the 12 apostles are also within an hour's drive away.
