Action hire have been my go to place and never disappoint with their rates and service. Their equipment is as good as anywhere and their vehicles really good. I won't bother going any where else as I find they tend to be overpriced whenever I price shop

People are fine but beware the tolls issue. We have been charged more than $500 in tolls for a single return trip to Sydney. Action Hire have charged us and told us we need to sort it out ourselves. A big headache.

Action Hire
We hired a removalist pantec truck and trolley last weekend and it was a great experience. The lady initially on the phone was really helpful and the collection on the day went smoothly. The employee (Kirk/Kurt) was also friendly and made the hire easy. We saved a fair bit of money going with Action Hire as well compared to the other companies in the highlands.

Will never use them again. Hired an elevated work platform, which had an intermittent electrical fault (I think) leaving my tree lopper stranded for 45 minutes about 3 times. Consequently the quoted 3-4 hour job blew out to 7-8 hours and cost me an extra $600. Spoke to the company about it and “ magically” they could find nothing wrong, even after admitting that the previous hirer had trouble with the platform.So back to Kennards for me. AVOID ACTION HIRE AT ALL COSTS.

Staff seem great, but the boss gives off old time con man vibes, so if your after that, great. Otherwise I'd stick with Kennards.
