Compare the PRICES people!!!!On returning home and comparing the price of three scripts, I paid 70% more than my usual chemist on three scripts. I phoned to enquire why, and he had no answer really, just that he was trying to run a business, he was extremely rude and replied I am telling you now

It's one thing to be COVID safe, but it's another to be so paranoid in an environment when we haven't seen COVID for over 40 days that we have to quee for ages and out into the street because of extreme social distancing. Staff are friendly, but the wait was ridiculous.

Just a fantastic chemist number 1 Customer service plus you don't have to wait long. Due to Covid 19 it has been tough for all but they have managed to continue to do a outstanding job.

TRIED to shop there last week. All I wanted was a pkt of sinus pain tablets. I understand we have to queue these days and the distancing policies but the reception I and others received at the first point of call in the door was awful. I was sprayed with a substance in a bottle then asked if I had been to Melb recently. I truthfully answered no. I said I only want to buy sinus medication and was told to move in to store and join the line. I asked as a matter of interest what would have happened if I had replied yes to being in Melb recently. I was advised I would not have been allowed to enter the chemist shop and would have been served outside. I and others in line waited and waited. All staff were busy with scripts. Surely one staff could have been assigned to customers with other needs. Another customer wanted to purchase soap. She too waited in the queue. I eventually left the line and drove to San Remo chemist where I was greeted much more warmly. I was not made to feel like I was a leper and left with my tablets. I have nothing but praise for the San Remo Pharmacy.

i go to the amcal pharmacy twice a week & i have to say i look forward to seeing the team that work there they are a friendly happy & very professional bunch of people to talk to ,the pharmacist roger or, Everett & his wife Louise always treat me with respect which these days is rare. i strongly recommend if you have pharmaceutical needs you give them a visit the lady's are wonderful & will go out of there way to give you the right assistance & or advice that they can.

Wouldn't recommend this chemist not only do they overcharge pbs clients they also tried ripping me off telling me my Medicare card and Centrelink card are voided and won't work luckily there was a decent worker In there that sore I needed my meds because I was balling my eyes out at the fact I wasn't going to be able to afford my meds I've been to Centrelink who have backed me up stating there is nothing wrong with my meds I also pick up my housemates meds which is weekly pickup they told me she has to pay each week 7.30 which is frued as 7.30 is the full amount full the meds not 7.30 AVOID THEM . if you don't want to be ripped off

My medication was due to be picked up every 20 days but due to miss calculation of dates from the pharmacist they made me wait 21 days, it wasn't right on there judgment and i left feeling uneased even though my doctor told the pharmacist she was wrong.I dont recommend going there, this is the second time they have been wrong on my dates of pick up

Went in to fill my script and not only did the pharmacist contradict my GPs instructions but the sales woman told me my script wasn't on PBS so charged my three times the amount I was charged for the repeat prescription at the Inverloch pharmacy. Never again.

After going to a different chemist in Wonthaggi which didn't have a pharmacist on site to give advice, I visited Amcal and spoke to the pharmacist here. He was very helpful and thorogh, and was able to recommend a product on the spot to help me. Highly recommended!

i had an appointment with my doctor today & he [dr haddad] told me i have enough meds to last 6/12/12 & amchall re-assured me of that it had taken 1,1/2 hrs to see him. now if the information is not correct a man can go to desperate measures from withdrawing from my medication/ ultimitly suicide if i had my way i would deal with murry st clinic not family medical centre. why do we live such stressfull lives
