about 1 and a half years ago i had auto kings come out to my residence to see why my AC was not working. I was told it would cost me $1200 for part and labour cost to fix the issue.Because of this i had another mechanic come out and get a second quote on the job. He told me all i needed was a re-gas of my AC which is what i originally thought and had asked for from Auto king. It has since been over a year and a half with my AC still working perfectly after the re-gas.Pretty wild difference between a re-gas and and a $1200 job that i didnt need.

Would highly recommend NOT to use these guys. Asked for a service and got nothing done. Absolutely nothing. The staff dont know what he did, the mechanic hasn't had the decency to contact me to tell me what he HASN'T done. The mechanic did not even top the coolant up, let alone do anything else that is a necessity. Got yelled at by staff. Told to email manager as there is no contact numbers. They take complaints seriously, they say, well not serious enough as I am still waiting on a response. Will never use again!! I wouldn't not even give them 1 star but had to put something in to add my review.

Damaged the centre console and broke lighter housing, failed to disclose the damage after the job. Attempts to have a replacement for damaged item provided by company unsuccessful. This company doesn't get back to you after you fill in the customer satisfaction form and when you ring they fob you off by sending you the customer satisfaction form . If you want a dodgy job done by an unethical mechanic, this is the company for you. Be warned, if he butchers the inside or outside of your vehicle, he won't tell you and the company won't care.Additional information. It's now Wednesday and on the Friday night I was filling in the customer satisfaction survey for the second time after attempting an email as well. To be honest at 6 pm on a Friday night I was fuming that I had to pay to repair the damage your mechanic had caused. Happy to remove the poor review but obviously you don't really care. Best of luck for the future, won't be getting my vote.

I use this service in Townsville over 6 years now, always on time, always a great attitude, definately a smile on my face every single time I use these guys, that's why they remain my go to for automotive needs.

Fantastic service and a lot cheaper than I was expecting to pay. Same day service and highly recommended for the Townsville area.

Terrible, say they will come day after day. New issues arise each time you call them. Call centre staff have no idea what’s going onAnd if you book anything for Friday after 12 don’t except them to come as they will get sick (go drinking) before 3. Will come out take two seconds to look at your car take 125 for it. Then never come back to do the work as theres more money in just pretending they know what the issue is. Stealing your money on the “ diagnosis” then see you later.

I purchased a used car with a valid roadworthy from these guys a few months back, I had only purchased the vehicle as it was roadworthy. Upon taking it to some mechanics to have it checked over and serviced they found SEVERAL underlying issues that could be catastrophic if left unchecked, and redirected me to the transport department for a full inspection. Upon going to them it was discovered that the car was defective, the park brake wasn't fully effective, there were major oil leaks, the engine mounts were significantly worn and more had gone wrong. Had i kept driving this car and taken the roadworthy done by this company at face value I very well could've died in a car accident. I had not even driven over 23km by time the car was detected. Attached is the roadworthy and then the defect notice as well.

Send young bloke out stood over bonnet and done a few basic fuse tests etc but in the end was beyond his ability and just said get a auto electrician to look at it. Waste of time and $125 .no help at all.
