Australia Post - Guildford LPO

12 hours agoThe worst and most unprofessional post office I have ever dealt with. Have had ongoing issues with delivery staff for over a year and counter staff are exceptionally rude on a good day. I have been screamed at by previous delivery man and recently snapped at for asking a genuine question about their phone line. Asking a question doesn't warrant them being rude and snapped at. And when you tell them it's unnecessary to talk like that to you they refuse to provide service.They don't know how to do their job, are slow and half the time they can't locate your parcels because they are so messy.Time for them to do a refresher course on customer service so customers don't have to be subjected to their rudeness on ongoing basis.Such bad reflection on Auspost.

I honestly can't say I've ever had a bad experience using this Post Office, at most wait times can be a bit long during peak hours but nothing to really complain about, have sent about 25+ parcels with no problem and received over 50 parcels again with no problem. Staff are quick and helpful.

If I knew of a way to get my mail directed to another post office, I would!Staff refuse legitimate forms of ID, such as my passport, and not to mention they are generally rude.According to them, you need to be able to drive to receive your parcels and Photo ID cards and passports are not legitimate ..........?They don't seem to know their jobs and cause undue stress and inconvenience whenever I have to deal with them.

The longer running older staff are rude & will talk about customers standing right in front of them, asuming customers can't understand them when they're not talking in English. The sad thing is, in the past these same staff members used to be really polite & friendly but I have watched things seriously go downhill in the past decade and a half, especially since the change of location for the shop front. Yes, the shop front got smaller but it seems so to did the ability of staff members to remain polite & professional.

I can't understand why they had to take my parcel back to the post office when it was clearly stated ATL Delivery".. They did this for the fourth time in a row. I guess this is my only solution

Worst customer service we have experienced! They never answer their phone. They did not call or text me to say that my parcels have arrived to be picked up. Two of my parcels have gone missing from there. Not happy with their service.

The worst post office ever. Authorized my wife to collect a parcel, and they refused to give it my wife. She had the notice and also my signature was on the notice authorizing her to collect. Her address is the same as mine and they still refused to give the parcel. Why the hell you leave the notice then???? The PO guy refused to talk to me over the phone. Looking at the reviews above, why the APO still let them operate?

The Vietnamese lady that served me was incredibly rude.My fiance is asian, so spare me any racism comments.This has been a similar experience across almost all Australia Post staff I've encountered.I always end up leaving angry after dealing with Australian post office staff.

Have tried to call multiple times during the week, they NEVER answer their phones, trying to save my self a trip to see if my parcel has arrived there. Looks like I have to go down there to ask a simple question that could be answered over the phone, especially during Covid when people are trying to limit going to public places… Not good enough! Wish I could change post offices to one that’s more convenient and closer to my home.
