Liquid Gold Beach Cafe
A great little casual dining spot by the beach. The bacon and eggs was well cooked and decent value given its prime location. Plenty of seating, parking nearby might be a bit tricky on weekends.

This was our first visit to NewCastle and first breakfast here. I must say one of the best services and amazing food. Thank you Lily for your sweet gesture and hospitality. Made my wife’s birthday very special. 100% recommend people to check this restaurant out. Awesome food and great service.

One of the least value for money spots.Overly priced with poor quality of food.Edit to reply: It's very interesting that you are choosing to reply to this review while conveniently ignoring others about your poor dinning experience. I do not appreciate when people become keyboard warriors hence I have never left a review. But my only review of your cafe is testament of terrible dinning experience.You are more than welcome to check your CCTV photage, we (7 of us) dined at your cafe on Sunday noon

Poor quality food. Waited 40mins for food. Chips are made in the oven, not deep fried. Order came out poorly. Dirty tables and glasses left there. No one is prompt to remove previous customers glasses and plates etc. disappointed. There's so much potential in this place. Staff are nice.

Liquid Gold Beach Cafe
I've been coming in here for years and that's because it's my favourite place to go for a breakfast feed. The yummiest scrambled eggs, salty bacon, tastiest butter & mushrooms I've ever had! Coffee is yum & banana thickshake. Place is chill with a beautiful view of the beach. This is my kinda place & people.

Looks a little basic from the outside, but good food and coffee. Staff are friendly and service is generally fast. Sometimes it can be a bit slow during peak periods, but it gives you the chance to sit back and soak up the views.Meals are of a good size, and the flat white has good depth of flavor.A great place to watch people, and the weather, and let the world drift by.

I wouldn't recommend this cafe to anyone.If you like to get the wrong drink order. Then wait for your food order NOT to appear because they lost your food order.To top it off getting short changed when you ask for a refund for the food order that didn't turn up. And on top of that they charge you a 10% surcharge for NOT giving you your food then this is the place for you.I get you were busy yesterday but you need to have staff who can handle this situation.You said a 40 minute wait for our order & we accepted that & waited.But it was a complete shambles. All we ordered was a cheese & ham toastie and a slice of banana bread.The guy behind the counter was more spaced out then Neil Armstrong.Its a complete joke!

We waited for over 50 minutes to be served, even though the cafe wasn’t very busy. They had 3 staff cooking the meals, yet the manager and wait staff were clueless as to who has been waiting and for how long. No apologies from the staff over this, plus no clue as to how customer service can be redeemed. Terrible service I must say.

Waited over an hr for our hot drinks and then later food. No apologies given just gruff excuses. The group that came in an hr after we came in got their food in 5 minutes while the couple next to us who had been waiting 20 minutes were ignored. Really really badly run. Food was basic and average even though it was on the expensive side.
