Friends of Languages - Italian, Spanish and French

OMG! The online classes are amazing! I must admit moving from the classroom to online was not something that I looked forward to..... but the classes have been wonderful. I am by no means an IT savvy person so initially there are a few things to get used to, but it didn't take long. The teacher was so helpful. The 1.5 hours goes so quickly and it's really nice to work with new classmates from all over Australia. The activities are fun, engaging and there is a lot of opportunity to practice speaking (or at least try.... still learning :) ) I highly recommend the Friends of Languages team for their quality courses and authentic enthusiasm! I have been studying Italian at Friends of Languages for a year now. I have been very impressed by the dedication and professionalism of the team at this school.F o L is very well-run. All the teachers are friendly and good communicators.I have been a language teacher for 30 years so when I chose a school, I wanted teachers who have experience and a thorough understanding of how to teach a language. The teachers at F o L are very thorough and combine different approaches to make learning both fun and effective.

If you’re looking for more than just a language class, rather a sense of community, look no further. Friends of Languages offers such an enriching learning environment and language program, from which your study goals will flourish. I cannot speak highly enough of the advanced teaching capabilities of the facilitators; thank you ever so much Cris for your endless enthusiasm and passion for educating others in languages. My memories of the people I met here will always be positive. The program also encourages many social events throughout the term calendar, which I highly recommend. To summarise, this is a fantastic and value-for-money place to either commence or continue your language learning journey, whilst meeting great people along the way!..So what are you waiting for?!

Friends of Languages is a wonderful school with two amazing teachers - Cris and Denise. Every lesson is meticulously planned and a whole heap of fun. I look forward to seeing them each week and I know that my Italian is becoming not only more fluent, but also more natural because of their teaching skills.

I'm into I think my fourth term of Italian and I absolutely love it. I look forward to it every week. The lessons are diverse in terms of how you learn - through games, reading, listening and speaking, which is complemented by a textbook and a small amount of homework. Our teacher is fantastic (and Italian). I can't wait to go back to Italy to put everything into practice! 10/10 recommend FoL!

Friends of Languages well and truly deserves all the positive reviews it receives. I always enjoy going to my weekly class. Teachers are extremely professional, friendly and are always well organised which allows students to learn so much in each lesson about not only the language but also the culture of Italy.

I love my Italian lessons at Friends of Languages and have learned so much this year! I have had lessons elsewhere in the past, and the quality of those pale into insignificance in comparison with FoL.The lessons are immersion style which increases the speed at which you learn, the teachers are wonderfully enthusiastic and humorous, and the classes are varied and fun, keeping your attention at all times. The Italian culture and passion shines through every lesson. The opportunity to practice speaking, listening, reading and writing is built in seamlessly and extra options include intensive classes during holidays and extra conversation classes. Fantastico!

My one on one lessons in Spanish were fantastic. My teacher, Cris, was amazing and I felt he gave me a giant boost in my confidence. We covered a lot of ground in my 5 hours I had in the week. He was profesional, fun and encouraging. I've learned a lot. Thank you Cris.
