Australia Post - Springfield Central Post Shop

We just attended this post office to complete my daughters passports. I was told by Robin 'no' as they already had a person doing passports and others waiting for photos. I wasnt told to wait in the line, I wasnt even asked what needed to be done for the passports just flately 'no'. We waited in the line and the nice older lady (I think she was the manager) eventually served us. Maybe next time consider your customer service skills before flately refusing your so called customers.

Generally we always only ever hear about the 1% of bad service but today i would like to comment on some great customer service I received from my local (Springfield Central).Bonnie you were amazing today. I needed help with sending a package overseas as well as some assistance with sending local packages.Not only were you very thorough, very understanding, made me feel so comfortable, so helpful with always a smile on your face.It’s very clear your fantastic at the work you do and you love doing the work you do. Sometimes I get a good driver who will leave the small package at the door when there is a car not 3 feet from the door, but the past two packages I have paid for delivery of have been taken back to collection.Please give more than 10 seconds for someone to get from one end of the house to the other OR if there is a car literally in front of the door that has been knocked on, leave it at the door!The package I missed today because of not hearing a knock was fragile items that I would have been able to get straight away and know the package was safe if it was left out the front WHILE MY CAR WAS THERE! But can not get for 24 hours and now I'll stress about breakages.

I don't care about any of the other reviews all Aus Post services are the same: Not big enough, slow and understaffed.I have been waiting 7 years for them to build an Aus Post at Orion, 10min waiting in line is nothing compared to having to drive to the next closest and wait 10 min there.

Slowest post office in the world, been in line for 30mins, has not moved an inch. Absolutely disgusting service

Rude for no good reason, Australian with glasses. Asked if I could send a package to England and her response was you missed the cut off date in a rude manner.. wasn’t even to do with Christmas but straight down my throat with rudeness. Cheers but no thanks :)

Not sure what the other reviews are complaining about - most of it is about the carriers?Anyway, had the best experience trying to send a parcel to my friend in England. I got help from 2 different staff as I have never done it before, and they were both so lovely and helpful. Thank you for your lovely service despite you guys always being busy! I think people just need to learn some patience and gratitude.

When we went in, it was very busy (a line to the back of the store). Upon asking to get passport photos taken for our baby, we were asked to wait to the side for someone else, which we were ok with. We stepped off to the side and after about 20 minutes of waiting another staff member began taking photos for 2 adults who had come in WELL after us. By then, our son who was rather stimulated by everything going around, had become tired and was getting antsy. We brought up that we were in before them and our son was getting worked up and the lady just said she needs to finish an application for these 2 people who, again, had come in AFTER us. We really don't mind waiting, but to help other people with the same thing we wanted (photos) AND who came in after us is ridiculous.

I was at home all day waiting for my parcel and - bingo! It has been delivered, but back to the post office as the delivery driver didn't even bother to knock on the door. And yes, like other people below have already mentioned, it's highly inconvenient chasing the parcel which delivery you paid for! It's time and money consuming, - absolutely!
