Albion Hotel
Remember we are talking about an old style country pub. Group of 8 travellers. Clean tidy and spacious comfy rooms clean & tidy communal washroom. Great dining and bar downstairs. Our hosts finish in 10 days and our positive experience is entirely theirs.

The room it self was nice but the bedroom had no room at all,you had to dress in the bathroom or the lounge room you could only just walk around the bed. There was no room for your bags except in the wardrobe. The bed was comfortable but the room was very small and felt clostrafobic and had no Tv or air conditioning in the bedroom.

The Albion does a Fantastic Schnitzel, salad and chips just a short walk from the Grenfell Motel. Have been there now many times and I strongly recommend the Albion for both lunch and dinner.

The staff and management were very nice and friendly. Great pub and the meal was excellent. You should definitely check it out.

Worst mattress ever. Slats had fallen out of the bed frame.On the bright side, I was the only guest but if that was their best room I wonder what condition the others are in.

This hotel is in the process of a renovation. Well worth a visit to view the pressed tin ceiling and the circular wooden bar. Staff are friendly. Accommodation is available from $60 and it has a fire in the bar. I enjoyed a couple of schooners and a chat with the new publican and bar staff on a cold evening after visiting each of the other hotels in town and this was my preferred venue.

Awesome feed. We ate dinner as a family 5 here on a Tuesday night. Special was $9.50 chicken schnitzel and it was one of the best we’ve ever had. Cooked perfectly, juicy and crispy crumbs. Came with chips, mash and veg! Sauce was extra $1, $2 or $3 depending on flavour but was very generous serving! Staff and locals were very friendly and professional. We ate in the beer garden as we had our two dogs with us. They put the fairy lights and heaters on for us as it was a cold May night and we were very comfortable. Lovely little small town pub!

Had lunch there today great food ( l had mexican schnitzel it was delicious),cheap beer and friendly staff
